𝗠𝗜𝗦𝗦𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗗𝗘𝗧𝗔𝗜𝗟𝗦 :  “ i can never do anything right can i !? ” 𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗧𝗨𝗦 𝗥𝗘𝗣𝗢𝗥𝗧 : CLOSED !

「         Hey,       」         he calls out, brows drawn together as his voice cuts the calm air like a knife. Reaching out, almost as if he was about to place a hand of comfort on his shoulder, Ame pulls back and redirects the path of his hand in favor of flicking his forehead, gently but enough to get the point across. He isn't sure if that will work on Remi, but Ame always managed to pull himself out of panic attacks like this whenever he was startled by something, and a flick to the head typically did the trick. Of course, it occurs to him that Remi may not function the same way that he does; they were still learning about each other, after all. But, there was no way to know without doing. Thats what he thinks, anyways.

Stepping in, he pulls him close, quick to sooth the spot with a gentle kiss against his brow.         「        Don't be so hard on yourself,        」       he murmurs out, gathering him in his arms now. Pressing their brows together, he smiled warmly.           「          You meant well. Next time, you will get it. Its a learning experience, yeah? And ill be here every step of the way.       」      He wasnt sure how comforting and assuring that may be, but he hopes it will be enough.        「      It's okay, I promise.       」

𝗠𝗜𝗦𝗦𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗗𝗘𝗧𝗔𝗜𝗟𝗦 :  19. because i am dying 𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗧𝗨𝗦 𝗥𝗘𝗣𝗢𝗥𝗧 : OPEN ! 

He has failed him. He has failed him in the worst way possible. It wasn’t ... It wasn’t supposed to happen this way. They were the Vongola, one of the strongest mafia families out there. They have faced a multi - dimensional tyrant for God’s sake! A band of hunters should be nothing compared to them. And yet ... And yet ...

His throat feels tight, his eyes brimming with tears. He couldn’t fight them back even if he wanted to. It hurts ... It hurts so much ... he felt like his heart was being literally ripped out, and he believes that would hurt less than what he was currently feeling.

Gathering him in his arms, a broken sob escaped him, his shoulders shaking violently as he pressed their brows together.  「     I’m — ... I’m sorry ... I’m so—I’m so sorry ....     」 he whispered out in a shuddered breath, his tears flowing down his face freely. His fingers gripped at the front of his bloodied shirt, as if he could cling onto him hard enough to keep him from Death’s grip. There was so much blood, he couldn’t get it to stop. It had to stop!

「     I love you ... Don’t ... Please don’t leave me...     」 he hiccuped wetly, another sob being ripped from his vocal chords.

𝗠𝗜𝗦𝗦𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗗𝗘𝗧𝗔𝗜𝗟𝗦 :  16. after a nightmare 𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗧𝗨𝗦 𝗥𝗘𝗣𝗢𝗥𝗧 : OPEN ! 

「     Babe ... Hey, babe ...     」 His voice was urgent but gentle as he shook him gently by the shoulder, his brows drawn together in clear concern. Ame had snuck out of bed while Remi was asleep to check in on something he had forgotten about earlier on in the day when he started to hear the sounds coming from his room. It broke his heart seeing him so distressed, especially in his sleep. Sleep, to him, should be a reprieve from the world. An escape. Not another thing to drag you down. 

Another gentle shake, this time a little more firmer. When he finally woke up, he was quick to slide into the bed again, pulling him in close against him. 「     It’s okay ... You’re okay ...     」  he murmured out soothingly, fingers pushing through his hair before he kissed the crown of his head.

𝗠𝗜𝗦𝗦𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗗𝗘𝗧𝗔𝗜𝗟𝗦 :  8. to protect 𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗧𝗨𝗦 𝗥𝗘𝗣𝗢𝗥𝗧 : OPEN ! 

Ame wasn’t a fighter. Not really. He was more of a strategic mastermind than he was a tank; the complete opposite of his sister. But that did not mean he won’t bare his own teeth in the face of a threat. 「     Remi!     」 The other’s name is torn from his throat as he reaches out, catching the other by the wrist and yanking him back and away from the throng of battle. Out numbered. They were out numbered, and he wished for once that his sister was around. If she wouldn’t fend the enemy off for him, he knew that she would for Remi.

Not because he was his soul mate, but because ... Because Emi was just a good person, even when he did his very best to paint her as the villain.

Blue flames surrounded the ring on his finger, and he plugged it into a futuristic box, summoning his box - animal, Mina. His stomach was twisting into knots. He didn’t want Remi to see him like this. But if he had to choose between Remi and them, it will always  be him. He was the reason why the other got roped into this in the first place. He was the target, and Remi was just the by standard.

Pulling the werewolf behind him, Ame got into a fighting position, his nunchucks rattling as he got ready to charge forward. He doesn’t have to kill them, but he had to at least handicap them.

𝗠𝗜𝗦𝗦𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗗𝗘𝗧𝗔𝗜𝗟𝗦 :  to say good morning 𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗧𝗨𝗦 𝗥𝗘𝗣𝗢𝗥𝗧 : OPEN !

Remi had stayed over later than they had planned — not that he was complaining, or anything. Even if they didn’t need the recharge to get through the rest of the next day, with him having classes and a meeting right after to attend to, he still enjoyed the other’s company. Always has, since the moment they met. But Ame finds that ...  He genuinely enjoyed Remi’s company. He’d like to think that, even without this red string of fate that bound them together that they would still be friends at the very least. And he’d consider him as a real friend, not the ones he pretended to enjoy.

Ame woke before the sun did, as he often did to get ready for his day. Waking up early was like second nature to him, a habit he had developed ever since he was younger — and a habit he did not intend to break any time soon. Time was important to him, and he felt like sleeping in too much would be such a waste.

When his eyes opened, he was only slightly alarmed to find Remi still laying on top of him; they had been watching movies on his couch, simply enjoying each other’s company. He wasn’t sure when they had fallen asleep, but that on itself was a tall tale sign of how much trust he had in the other. When you’re part of the mafia, you learn to be on guard all the time.

Smiling to himself, he reached out, allowing his knuckles to brush along his cheek in gentle and loving strokes. He was so cute like this, it felt like an absolute crime to wake him up. 「     Good morning, sleeping beauty,     」 he whispers gently, as if to not jostle the other awake.
