I accidentally grew a little flax seedling, I guess the seed got mixed up from earlier planting. But whatever else I was growing in that container didn't grow, so I decided that flax was a great thing to grow; I've never seen how it develops and how to get seeds. So, she's out in the garden, doing great, and one day I was there in the late morning and found these three beautiful flowers:
I was mesmerized, the color is so pretty, they absolutely charmed me. I went to do other things afterwards, and few hours later visited the garden again. But the flowers were no longer around!
I checked the entire plant and nothing was damaged; it seems that the flowers just closed back up. But why? It was noon. Next morning, also closed flowers. I've now gone days without seeing them opened once. This is now so tantalizing I'm thinking of timing my visits to try and catch the flowers open again. The combination of them being so beautiful and so rarely visible is creating a mysterious forbidden vibe and I am here for it.
