It would be wrong to say the city had been unkind to Rhea since her arrival. They did at least give her living quarters and some starting sums of money, obviously nothing like she had back at the monastery and she had to leave her more ostentatious robes behind for more practical clothes. . The very act of sending her here though could cause any number of untold problems and worries.
Not to mention, once again it seemed something wished to interfere with her goal . . .
But any and all negativity is pushed to the side when her eyes find the familiar face of the few remaining family she has left in the world. Looking over some street vendors fish-fry stand so innocently.
“Flayn?”
Unfortunately she can’t quite hold herself back from embracing the young girl. Even if everything else was gone at least she still had someone here, and until she could contact Seteth she would not allow anything to happen to her. No one would harm her family again.
“I can’t believe it, you’re here, and safe.” The archbishop perhaps unintentionally lifts the shorter girl off the ground slightly but sets her down quickly enough. “I’m terribly sorry for that outburst I’m just . . . Relieved.”
