The blonde marched over to his... he didn't know what Axel -- Lea, now? Ugh, that was going to take getting used to -- was anymore, but either way, he marched over and settled in next to him, leaning against him slightly as he held out one of their favorite ice creams.

"Don't you ever have anything else to do?" Roxas couldn't help but tease. "Or even eat anything else?" Which reminded him.... he hadn't eaten anything either. He still wasn't used to it.... oops.

"Someone convinced you about all these awful things." (x)

Riku snorted, averting his eyes. "Didn't take any convincing, it was all true." He recognized the bitterness in his tone, didn't really want it to be there, but--

The sigh as he dragged a hand through his hair was sharp and irritated, directed only at himself. Hands very carefully both lowered and kept to his sides again, those thoughts were still there, always. Guilt, disgust; how easily he'd been tricked and utilized, how his own desires and emotions had been used and then used against him. There would always be anger at himself.

But. Glancing back, he admitted, "I guess someone convinced me that it was never too late to regain what was lost, too. That what's in your heart matters." Silly, sappy, ridiculous. Save that he'd come to believe it and see proof for himself.

Confusion and surprise flashed across Riku's face, not sure--

Then it clicked, expression softening. There was just a little huff of breath, not quite a laugh but certainly not dismissal either. "I could be wrong, but as far as I know you were doing what you thought was right to protect your friends." That sounded a little too simple, too casual in tone, but Riku was aware of how little he really knew about the whole situation.

Enough. "I can't... judge you for any of that. It would make me worse than a hypocrite." He shrugged a little. "We're on the same side now, aren't we?" Even aside from knowing how much training he'd done, Riku had seen Lea and Kairi teasing each other and laughing together, and for him that really said enough.

Noah stood her ground, looking at the man with a wary expression. What did he want? He looked odd and something about him was off too but she didn't know quite what that could be. "I would heavily suggest you don't fight me. I don't want to hurt you." She was warning him for his own good.
