❣- What calms your muse down?
spencer sucks at coping. like -- really, really sucks. most of the time he just bottles it up. anger, sadness, hurt. he bottles it all up until he bursts. in his job, it’s easier to hide behind a poker face. a mask that this stuff doesn’t bother you. compartmentalizing all this fear, hurt, rage. spencer typical bottles until he bursts.
when he does get upset, typically grounding works well. grounding is a technique in which you use objects around you to remind yourself where you are. He likes to go outside and sit on the grass. the wind, the grass, it reminds him he is alive. he is existing for a time in a world that will keep turning and will not stop for him.
if there is a point where he cannot get outside, he enjoys rolling a stone in his hand, describing it to himself. another way he copes is through talking to other, or just crying. he doesn’t cry in front of many people -- his team is really the only ones he allows himself to break down in front of. he doesn’t cry in front of his mom (if he can help it) lest he upset her.
∞- Does your muse believes in afterlife?
yes. spencer believes there is some kind of afterlife. he doesn’t think about it much, because uncertainty freaks him out. so he just tries to tell himself ‘there’s a better place out there’.
✺- Something your muse finds pretty
in nature? it’s flowers. flowers, to him, are the essence of beauty. they’re beautiful, and no two are identical. he likes the colors and counting the petals (he enjoys seeing if there is a golden-ratio to their petals).
in people? call him cheesy, but he enjoys a good personality. not nessecarily smart (though some intelligence helps) but someone he can laugh with. someone he can just be free with. that, to him, is the most beautiful thing a person can be -- a good personality is as pretty as any designer shoe or purse or dress or whatever.
