Leadership
I recently came back from FLDECAELS, and I am so happy I went on the trip. For those who don't know, DECA is a marketing/business program. This weekend was a leadership summit. We learned how to be better in our craft and I'm so proud to open my eyes to an amazing experience. I have truly become a better leader within 3 days and I am more confident in myself and in my work. We learned 4 different types of leaders (driver, analyzer, caretaker, and energizer) and I am so proud to be the driver. Of course drivers aren't the most liked simply because we can be "bossy" or "stubborn" but we are the strongest leaders of the four. We get the job done and we only expect the best. I love my leadership skills and I can only strive for the best. I've made new friends, new connections, and I've strengthened friendships. I even gained leverage on the competition. I have never felt like I've matured as much as I have this past weekend thanks to the Emerging Leaders Summit 🔷💛
