Feb 21, 2020 Part 1: Hello Everyone! Oh boy did I go on an adventure in my lesson yesterday 😊 It was my first lesson actually doing the Para Grade I FEI intro test A that told you about last time. Shane went lame due to a busted hoof abscess, so this handsome flea bitten grey is Ganelon, he is a Selle Francais. I haven’t been on him since July 2019, and I struggled to communicate with him a lot. Despite this, I managed to earn my first 10 on a dressage movement ( you’ll see this at the end of this first video set) and earn an 81.6% overall! I’m so proud of us!😊💗 I wanted to divide this in two posts so so you guys can see everything that happened. There was a lot that I could’ve done better as a rider to help Ganelon do his best with the test, and that’s what bothering me the most, but I know I did the best I possibly could with what I had, and that’s what matters. I love you Gigi, I promise that I’m going to help us do even better next time 💗 You’re a good boy! P.S For some reason I had a really hard time getting him to woah, we had to restart first centerline a few times and got a 6 for final centerline because of it. So if you guys are watching this and you have tips for me so that I can do better, please leave them in the comments. Also, my whip got stuck on the saddle multiple times which threw off my hand position 😓 . #horse #horses #horsesofinstagram #equine #equines #equestrian #paraequestrian #dressage #paradressage #paradressagerider #usef #adultamateur #adultammy #ganelon #sellefrançais #fleabittengrey #goodboy #therapyhorse #therapyhorses #equineassistedtherapy #therapeuticriding #teamworkmakesthedreamwork #thefutureisbright #strongereveryday #chasingdreams #progressnotperfection #cerebralpalsy #disabledbutnotreally #aspiringparalympian #teamusa (at Quantum Leap Farm, Inc.) https://www.instagram.com/p/B83uxw_Ht6G/?igshid=vd604s7h36kz
