Hey, I just wanna take a sec to say I really dig Mrs. Flecker's outfit in that one comic. The one where she and Dottie are shopping cuz Dottie wanted to make a pie or sumn for Stripes. Specifically, the panel where Mrs. Flecker is standing in the grocery store looking at a can of sumn and Dottie is tryna put stuff in her handbasket. The white pants and orange pullover look good when paired up with her bun. She looks so professional.
ha!! i was going for a slightly more dressed down look but she’s very conscious of looking dignified hehe
Random HC: Stripes is the one who joins every school club/committee/ extracurricular possible. Dottie initially pretends to join it to get her mom off her back, but it backfires and she ends up being just as involved if not moreso than Stripes, and they both manage to win Mrs. Flecker’s approval
dottie has one problem and that’s being apart of the Stripes Club
i know dots goes to the bandsons because its a lot warmer but what would stripes do at the flecker’s house? would mama flecker offer dinner, what would she think of linus when he comes to pick up stripes, etc etc etc?
far less common but i’m sure it happens!
