New Unknown Enemy
This posting has been delayed while we here at Fleet Watch try to confirm our information. The unfortunate result is that we were right: The Fleets have a new enemy who do not appear to be associated with the Elvari at all.
This enemy force consists of women with warship equipment, very much like the Fleet Maidens, except twisted somehow. Photographs suggest an organic or monstrous quality to the equipment, including eyes, teeth, and body parts mixed in with dark steel an weapons. They are also extremely large.
Indications are that this new enemy calls itself the "Abyssal Navy" and that the forces encountered so far are subordinates to one central figure.
We can confirm that the Abyssal Navy was first encountered when a large force appeared from the sea to assault the 1st Fleet navy base at Midway Island, prompting a response from Yamato, Arizona, Hood, and Albacore, as well as Multiversal forces and the home fleet including USS Missouri and USS Iowa.
While the enemy was driven off, no units were destroyed. Fleet Watch will continue to monitor the situation.
This battle marks the second time Fleet Watch has footage of a Fleet Maiden engaging her fleet mode. This time, to drive away the Abyssal Navy, Yamato called forth her patron spirit in what we're terming Dreadnought Mode, unleashing a staggered, continuous bombardment on the enemy leader until the entire force submerged.
No names or designations were collected by Fleet Watch sources, and so temporary monikers are being used around our office to refer to these new enemies: Airfield Princess, Anchorage Princess, and Armored Carrier Princess.
We have also dug up references to "Ta" and "Ru", which appear to be the names of the other two members of the Midway Abyssal Fleet attack force.
