OH COME ON did you see David Bowie's codpiece?
Tell me that doesn't involve something nefarious and sexual?
fleetfonzies replied to your post: I’m also mad at myself because I still...
That’s me with Twin Peaks
same! I'm so ashamed of myself but on the other hand it's super hard to get into an hour long drama when the first episode is double length
it's because TPP is so popular right now and you managed to snag the name so it seems like you're the best source for info
ahhh, sweet
still though, all these people checking my url and following
Claire I did it but it is bad. Enjoy!
The Instagram photograph entitled Visual Representation of the Inner Turmoil Waiting for My Fedex Package is a self portrait documented by the artist Claire on April 24th 2013. Warm hues of red, orange, and yellow play into the abrasive contrast of light and dark shadow. These characteristics denote a tone of heated anger and frustration. A rough, grainy texture to the image creates even further tension that adds to the figures emotional state. The flurry of emotion is captured by the figure's blurry presence in the foreground, focusing on the grotesque emotive features of the face . She contorts her head upward, evidently emitting a groan or yell with an opened turned down mouth with upper teeth exposed. Eye contact is not made with the viewer to suggest an internal struggle; we are not invited to act on this emotional moment. Across the shirt of the figure reads in large letters 'MURDER' which is suggestive of the violent thoughts expressed through the image as a whole. Struggling with modern technology is an evident theme of the self-portrait based on the title but is also suggested through the images medium of expression and contextual items in the image. Instagram is one of the most popular contemporary social media sharing application and it alone as the medium for expressing an anger with Fedex, another contemporary institution, is ironic. There is a tension between the human need for technology and the disdain for its imperfections. A flat screen television in the background, to the left of the figure's head, is another sign of the way technology is ever-present in the experience of the artist.
fleetfonzies answered your question: I want to draaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaw Any requests?
me as an anime queen who eats everything
This was more difficult than I anticipated. I haven't drawn in an anime type style in so long that I needed to do at least 5 practice sketches to get a hang of it. Also, I forgot your glasses and added them but they looked weird so here is the version without. But I also have the one with glasses if you are interested.
Anime Queen Claire (literally) eats EVERYTHING with bitch-face (except pizza?)
(and incidentally the "not paying attention" crowd does not bother me half as much as the "it's good but I won't bother listening to anything else you make" crowd)
