26: If you could be a character from a book for their entire life who would you be and why?

JAYSIS - what a question!! UM, I don’t know how to answer this?!!??! I like sad books, and most of my favorite characters are dead... so... Maybe Paloma from The Elegance of the Hedgehog because she has so much ahead of her after the book ends? Or Smilla Jasperson in Smilla's Sense of Snow - she’s kind of a bitch, but she’s a brave, smart bitch and elegant as hell?
