H: How would you describe your style?
Optimistic realism maybe? With a little fantasy/magic thrown in sometimes. I really like reworking canon or building on canon. If I can predict the way something actually ends up happening, that is my actual nerd jam. But at the end of the day, I am a real sucker for romance and fluff and smut and happy endings. Or wait, @coolserietvloveuniverse called my style “smuff” recently and that made happy. I’ll go with that (:
I: Do you have a guilty pleasure in fic (reading or writing)?
Happy endings for sure, though I don’t think it’s guilty. Real life can be filled with too much actual sadness, so I think we deserve as many happy endings for our wlw ships as possible.
Also frantic, frenzied fucking that turns into sweet, passionate love making, honestly.
And first kisses.
And Kara topping Cat. #catgrantpowerbottom
K: What’s the angstiest idea you’ve ever come up with?
Hmmm…I really try to avoid angst, but probably a fic where Adam dies and Kara has to comfort Cat. Potential spoiler: In the comic books apparently he does die, but he’s also Cat’s only son, so that’s where I got the idea. I read a short one like that recently that someone wrote (and it was good!) but I probably won’t write it myself.
Also Cat dying and Kara bringing her back from the dead. I’ve got that one in the back pocket if ever they killed her off in canon, but heaven fucking forbid it. Thankfully, in this comic universe, anything is possible and we could always bring her back if need be. Good to remember that.
N: Is there a fic you wish someone else would write (or finish) for you?
Every time I hear music from the 60s I think about a fic where Cat is a professor and Kara is a student activist and maybe they end up at the same party and Cat gets Kara to smoke weed and they have some trippy but enlightening conversations and end up sleeping together. Probably won’t write it, but I’d read the hell out of it.

a bit of both? I REALLY hate particularly modern decor (all cruel, cold steel and indifferent greys, I can’t bloody bear it), but if a room is too old-fashioned it becomes very dated and sort of… dead… so a vintage-inspired but bright and airy space? a sort of modern country cottage, or log cabin, that’s the ideal
