One thing Emiri tried to be was independent, but sometimes she physically couldn’t be. When she left her house to discover a flat car tyre, she picked up the phone and rang Fletcher, knowing he was bound to not be too far away. Independence was important to her, she didn’t want to seem weak or vulnerable, but with Fletcher she knew he wouldn’t see it that way. A trust had developed that meant she knew she could rely on him to act as a friend when she need his help. Leaning against her car, she scrolled through the news awaiting for his arrival. When she heard the sound of his engine at the end of his drive she looked up, a smile spreading on her face. “My hero, I’m so sorry, I didn’t realise my cover had expired,” she bounded over to him, taking him in a warm embrace.
