The old #RapidBay jetty on the #FleurieuPeninsula acts as a valuable nursery area for many species of fish. This juvenile moonlighter is enjoying the food and protection provided by the structure and growth on the collapsed plyons, many of which are over 70 years old. The site is also popular for divers, with many sections of jetty structure, especially the “T section” supporting dense schools of fish. The #leafyseadragon is also regularly spotted here at various life stages from juveniles to breeding adults. @officialfleurieupeninsula @fleurieucoastmadebynature #fleurieu @southaustralia #SouthAustralia #GreatSouthernReef @insidenatgeo (at Rapid Bay, South Australia) https://www.instagram.com/p/BqXInnSggQD/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=e6jkvqjxtxg7
