phoenix finds himself wandering once more today, walking the streets of a slightly unfamiliar city. “slightly” because he has a feeling he might’ve hopped worlds again, but he’s doubtful. everything looks the same anyway. still, he should be wary.

unfortunately, his thoughts of caution are ( almost ) instantly forgotten when he sees a familiar face nearby. phoenix didn’t know she’d gotten out on parole...! he’d have to congratulate her. ...discreetly. he makes his way over with a nervous smile. same old feenie, right?

“hey, iris! it’s good to see you!” that is not a lie. while he may not harbor the same feelings he did for the young woman, he still visits her often. he can appreciate the frank talks they have, on everything under the sun. ( a shame to be unaware of the true identity of this girl. )
