Slate Gray Flex Wear Contact Lenses - Review

      One day I finally decided to try out new lenses.  I was eyeing two cosmetic lenses from Executive Optical with the brand Flex Wear Contact Lenses.  These lenses caught my attention because they look good on a colleague from work (an acquaintance, hence, I wasn't able to get any feedback) and they were on sale.

The first pair of lenses that I was interested in is called "Coffee".  It has a beautiful brown color, almost hazel, very natural, and is perfect for everyday use.  I fell in love with Coffee because they are the same shade as Trent Reznor's eyes.

                The other pair is called "Slate Gray".  It's a three-tone lens with a subtle gray color.  These characteristics make it dramatic and wearable at the same time.

      I prefer Coffee over Slate Gray because it looks prettier and is something different from the default gray lenses I normally wear.  It is less expensive too, priced at only PHP 420 per pair.  The only downside is that it's only good for three months.

      Being the pragmatic person that I am, I decided  to go for the Slate Gray pair of lenses.  It isn't as pretty as Coffee but at the price of PHP 540 it can be worn for a year before it expires.  In addition, the lenses come with a lens case and a 60 ML solution: items which are essential for proper lens care.

      When I first tried the lenses I noticed that they were a bit dark on my eyes.  I expected them to be lighter and more vibrant just as they appeared on my colleague's peepers.  This is probably due to my natural eye color which is very dark.  It didn't look that great on me but didn't look horrible either.

      In terms of comfort these lenses are NOT for everyone.  They easily dry out my eyes and cause irritation.  I can't wear them beyond two to three hours without feeling any discomfort and tearing.  

As for the favorable points, the longevity is great since the lenses are good for a year.  Another great attribute to consider is it doesn't impair one's vision. 

Although these lenses have something to offer, my main concern is comfort and the health of my eyes.  With this in mind, I wouldn't consider repurchasing the item.

Would look great on people with light natural eye color

Good for one year

Does not impair vision

Cons:

Although proper lens care is administered, discomfort may be experienced

May not be worn for a long duration

Consider Repurchasing? No

Been using these pair of contacts for 4months now, bought it at EO (Executive Optical) for less than P500 (it was on SALE that time) regular price ranges from P500 to P600 only. Its very safe and confortable. There are other brands to choose from. These are from FLEX WEAR in DALI BLACK with my grade at 25 - 100. And yea It made my eyes a little BIGGER.

Last week I've decided to buy one more pair and this time got it in DALI BROWN. It matches my real eye color. ~sorry don't have photos yet. Its not on sale anymore so Its on ragular price at P600+.
