Pick your goal, then take the most efficient way there. No pussyfooting with consuming unquantified amounts of "clean" food every 2-3 hours, and actually, no labeling foods "clean" or "dirty" at all. Just science-based fat loss. Quantified food consumption for laser sharp accurate result. Let's avoid food disorders and obsessive behavior by sticking to an 80/20 rule (or 85/15, or 90/10) of nutrient dense whole foods to processed foods, making sure to get at least 1-2 veges and at least 1-2 fruits per day, and an adequate amount of fiber and water as well. Let's go out to eat for our friends' birthday parties and not feel guilty about eating specific foods... You can eat almost anything you want... but perhaps not the *quantities* that you want. But hey, spending time with friends/family is more important than the food itself, so who gives a shit if you don't order the biggest thing on the menu? A little bit of self control mixed with macro-utilization goes a long way. Make (quantities of) foods that you enjoy fit into your macros and into your situation and your desired body will be able to coexist with the lifestyle you truly want and deserve.
