we only met twice for a couple of days over the past six years, but Naomi is one of the people I have the best conversations with, and when we are in one place things just seem to be really easy

a slow morning sharing (not pictured) cake and some last conversations before saying goodbye
during a little walk with Naomi that felt a lot like the good old flickr days
Merry Christmas, Ya'll by Calsidyrose Via Flickr: One last upload of Christmas ephemera on a brisk and breezy Christmas Eve here in Houston. Merry Christmas to my Flickr friends! Hope ya'll round up good cheer this holiday! May the blessings of the Season be with you and your families!

Via Flickr: Always nice to bump into flickr gadfly and man about town Mike or, as he's more commonly known in these parts: Eyesplash. A shockingly rare treat, considering we live only a block apart! Nice catching up. addendum: Too funny, after Mike was lamenting the fact that it's been ages since any of his photos made Explore, my photo of him goes and makes Explore the next day. Be careful what you wish for Mike! :-)
I finally got around to creating a Flickr account. I have been trying to add a few pictures here and there, and so far I am really enjoying it. The fact that you are able to take in the detail of a photo by viewing it in true size is one advantage no other website has given. I also admire the new friends and contacts I've made through it and being able to view other individal's art and style.
