Now! Right off the bat, this conversation was Fascinating from a Sausage main pov. Mostly because it didn't go how I initially expected at all. tf!Sausage has been pretty aggressive with his views on wanting to protect and starting off with spear in hand had me worried for a second. Now gonna skip to what I think is important! tf!Sausage actually agrees with tf!Pyro that taking Tim back to the academy wasn't worth the risk. Even saying it was admirable Pyro was trying to protect and go that far for the people of the academy. The entire conversation was to learn from the man himself what happened and his motives. Cuz as Sausage admitted, he's gone that far before as well with the thief he had to kill. He just wants to make sure Pyro will try all other options first before resorting to that.
As someone who hasn't gotten the chance to watch much of Pyro's pov I don't think he's evil! Not in the slightest actually! They seem to genuinely care about the other students based on the conversation. Similar to a lot of other students, everyone just has different ways of showing it and protecting others. Sometimes having someone to make the hard decisions is gonna be needed in war, and well. Hopefully tf!Pyro and tf!Sausage will be able to do what's necessary to keep who they care about safe.
Now tf!Sausage was hoping to get a chance to question Pyro about the situation and after basically being as subtle as a tornado alarm he gets his wish. Graecie and Legs use the recall spell and after they both teleport away Pyro turns to Sausage hitting him and breaking his concentration so he doesn't recall with them. Pyro then gets right to the chase "Ya, what's you deal huh?"
Also love the silly breaking character before truly getting into the lore. Was very funny and a great reminder they are playing characters. The sillies ever hehehe
Now I also want to point out something right after this. When questioning if Shelby was covering for Pyro, Sausage brings up both of their groups. As I think he's trying to draw as many parallels between himself and Pyro as he can. "Oh, of course. You know, your group is very tight knit just like mine is. They will watch my back just like yours, would watch yours." Along with this it really felt like Sausage was just wanting to hear Pyro say it out loud, which I'll get to more about later.
When that angle doesn't work Sausage is even more direct, saying "Listen, I never met Tim. I don't have any connections to the poor man. Corrupted or not... You did kill him." but Pyro refuses "I didn't kill Tim." The wording of that I feel is important especially with what Pyro says after. They truly seem to believe what they say, Pyro didn't kill Tim, they killed a corrupted thing that was a threat. Especially when Pyro says after "I will tell you from the bottom of my burning heart, that I didn't kill Tim."
You might notice from either pov tf!Sausage repeated the phrase "Say it" a lot during this conversation. He repeats it here after Pyro doubles down that he didn't kill Tim. If you haven't watched Sausages pov however you may not know he does this type of deal with more than just this conversation. (This next part is a ramble and my own read on the character so technically take it with a grain of salt) tf!Sausage is very very big on communication, when Graecie was upset and tried to ignore the issue he refused to let her suffer in silence and that's how their group learned about the 'prophesy' books. When Legs is worrying about who his magic could hurt others Sausage reminds him of all the good it can do. When Zam was confided about being from space or that she killed to protect the others in their group he reassured her. And while Sausage does his best to uplift them, he also has his own moments of reminding them about the hard reality of life. That it could get worse, that they might have to kill, and all the worries his own brain festers on. He focuses on communication, even if it's morbid at times. That's why he wants to hear Pyro say it. Sausage wants to hear it from them and know that Pyro acknowledges what they did and isn't trying to hide it.
So, hearing Pyro explain his thoughts saying "I think Tim was... long gone prior to us getting to the village." is another piece of understanding what drives him but it's not enough for Sausage. He wants to understand the full picture. Him following up asking Pyro "How do you know? You've never seen a corrupted person before." it 100% sounded accusatory, won't lie there. I do still think he was hoping for Pyro to give him more reasoning, but they didn't.
This causes Sausage to pry further, asking any questions he thinks might get him answers. "Listen, we've heard from people saying how corrupted individuals aren't all bad. Sniff, can tell you right now her mom, corrupted, but not evil, not violent, safe! They wouldn't hurt a soul. Tim was just hungry. That doesn't equal corrupted." Pyros response to this is another good insight "Hungry, prone to draw blades, acting incredibly strange. You weren't there that day. You should keep in mind." Cuz he's right. Everything Sausage is going off of is from what he's been told, and he knows that. He wasn't there to protect Bubbles or agree taking Tim back wasn't a good idea. He was asleep... Again. Which eats him up so much.
This is when I think tf!Sausage decides to try a different approach, instead of pushing for info he admits his main worry. "I know. Listen, I'm just a little worried here that... If one of Our friends becomes corrupted by whatever means, that you won't do the same thing. That's all I'm worried about." This gets a very interesting response from Pyro again furthering that they don't think as differently as some might assume. "If one of our friends got corrupted, I would.. I volunteer, if I am the one to fall. Whole heartedly, send me to a faraway abandoned village with a cart of fine delicacies and let me live out my days. That's not what the group wanted to do. The group wanted to take Tim back to the academy. Now would you like to risk something like that?"
This feels like a turning point in the conversation as Sausage quickly agrees "No, not that. Not the academy- Not the aca- But they- Hhh. Not the academy but... a safer place, you know?" As it's now Sausages turn to be question, to be vulnerable. Honest. For Pyro continues saying "I, but they refused. They wouldn't do anything But the academy." The inhale Sausage does here before admitting "Ya, that- I wouldn't go that far. See I didn't say they were always right but..." tf!Sausage knows that the others can be naive, shoot he tries to see the best in everyone as well. But he knows... So, when Pyro mentions that they think the others have warm hearts he has two sides of himself that are at war. Sausage says "Of course, we all do, most of us actually." He wants to believe that most of the students are. He does.
These three sentences Sausage says next I think some up his thoughts. "We just want to do what's right." "We don't want to... go too far as too, push someone..." "Or even what's necessary." He wants everyone to do the right thing, worried what that might mean but knows it's probably what is necessary. As Pyro themself says "Everyone wants to do what's right." He tried today to prove to Sausage that he's a good guy and can be trusted. But Sausage is still waiting to hear Pyro say it.
This next part I can see in two lights, tf!Sausage lying trying to get Pyro to talk, but honestly, I don't think he is. I think he means it but is worried about what that means for the both of them. "You don't have to lie. You don't have to lie to me, you can tell me the truth.... If you pushed him over that tower because you thought you were saving the rest of the people, that's kind of admirable. You know, you're willing to go the extra mile to protect the people of this academy. And that's fine. That's fine, I'll give it to you. You can go ahead."
From this admission Pyro tells his own thoughts and gosh I need them to interact more actually. It proves Pyro is observant, cuz after they say "You know when CPK was doing those corrupted rituals and that whole fiasco with vanishing?" I was glad when... Graec brought You around because I thought you were someone who was willing to do what it takes." as a Sausage viewer that proved that even without all the info tf!Pyro could sense tf!Sausage wasn't going to go down without a fight. That he was And is willing to do what it takes.
Now Sausage tells them a story only a handful have heard, in a way I think this is him sharing what he did in hopes that Pyro will do the same. "I am.... I have before, and I'm not proud of it... I have I- I actually were in your place once before, and I did take a life.... to defend someone." Sausage isn't innocent either, he's killed, made that hard decision. Even if it was an accident the first time not knowing his own strength with his new prosthetic. He killed to protect another. So, when Pyro questions "What kind of life?" Sausage tells them.
When talking with Pyro he recounts it as "Well, it was just a petty thief though, but he had a knife to a little girls throat and um... He wouldn't let her go so, I had to take this copper arm and... his head got... detached..... uh..." But when he told Aj the story with Graecie, Legs, and False listening he said "This one(The thief with the dagger to the girls throat, unlike the other thieves he had already knocked out) would not let go...So I... I kinda used my copper arm and I... punched him a little too bit to hard.... um..." When Aj asks if he didn't know his own strength he continues. "Ya, I wasn't used to these powers yet and I kind of um- his head came off." He doesn't tell Pyro this but there was more he admitted to the other group. "It was pretty bad, I kind of shutdown there for a minute. That was the first time I ever shutdown." These shutdowns are related to when tf!Sausage gets overwhelmed. Normal Sausage is gone replaced by a robotic voice who doesn't remember anyone or anything. Sausage is scared of shutting down as he can't protect others when this happens and is scared of what he might do as he can't remember what he says or does in this state. "Um.. It was pretty violent, so I promised not to go that crazy ever again. But- But if I had to- defend people I... I guess I have to do what I have to do sometimes."
So going back to his convo with Pyro when they ask "Wasn't a pretty sight?" Sausage is honest and continues telling Pyro about how he feels about his own choices. "No, but I had to do what I had to do. If it was between that girl and that... thief. Then the thief had to go." Pyro has another question while Sausage is willing to share, they ask him. "So then, if it's between.... you know, the academy falling and festering with corruption and... the chance that you didn't do the right thing. What would you do?" Sausage looks at Pyro again speaking certainly "Well, at least I'll make sure that.... the corruption doesn't end up in our walls." They both agree, they can't let the corruption into the academy.
After everything the two have talked about Pyro finally gives Sausage what he was looking for the whole time. Looking at Sausage Pyro asks him "So if you saw a man by... a ledge, staring at you, beckoning you over. And then.... when you- touched him and walked slightly forward and with no resistance from him. Wouldn't you feel something strange?"
Sausage got his confirmation but he's not done just yet. No, he answers with "But I wouldn't go from... starving man in the middle of... a town begging for help to... Oh, you might be corrupted. Oh, you Might be a danger. Oh, I Might... skip the formalities of waiting this out and Push you over. I don't think would have push-" Pyro however interrupts him "Do you think th- Do you think this place has any formality?"
This next part I wanna focus again on the choice of wording "We could have some. You know what- We're better than that...." Sausage says we. We could, We're better. He's including himself in that. Which is why this next part is rough.... "Listen, I- The only reason I did what I had to do is because that was the last resort. It wasn't the first one. There's other things we can do before we get to that point, and that's the difference between you and me." Because Sausage wasn't there and has only heard about it second hand, he thinks Pyro didn't consider other options. tf!Sausage is again worried what Pyro is capable of and hoping that they will try every other possibility first before resorting to killing. That's we he quickly adds before Pyro says more than very well "I'll get there, but I gotta... pass a couple steps before I get... to that point." Sausage wants to emphasize that if there is no other option then ya, do what must be done.
Hearing this Pyro plainly tells Sausage "Well, you believe what you want to believe. Just know that... I'm not a killer." Sausage considers this and says back "That's good... You just Have killed." This feels like it circles back to my point above. Sausage just wants to hear Pyro say it and not repeat I didn't kill. But Pyro shoots back with "Oh... Never drawn blood with a blade." Sausage hums and seems to realize as he's saying it "Actually, neither have I.... It was my fist." Pyro looks down at Sausages copper arm as Sausage laughs. But it's what Pyro says next that has me really thinking. "And every time I've seen Tim after what happened... He probably looked a lot better than having a copper fist through his head. He looks about the same. Just as corrupted." The way Pyro says this makes it sound like they wonder if Sausage has nightmares of what he did to the thief. Based on the fact it made him shutdown and he made a promise not to go that crazy ever again I'd say it haunts him in at least some way.
Pyro wraps up his stream shortly after this but Sausage doesn't and rambles to himself out loud. He's still worried what Pyro is capable of and that he could hurt people he cares about. Repeating that if that happens he will stop them. tf!Sausage also isn't sure if Tim actually had a sword or if it was a cover up still. However, that doesn't mean it's all doom Pyro is evil boo. Oh no, as after the picnic Sausage talks with Legs. This talk is what I mean when I say Sausage cares about communication. He tells Legs that Pyro pushed Tim off because they thought he was corrupted. When Jibble walks up and Legs questions if they keep talking Sausage says "I really haven't told anyone else yet because I don't know if we should hold this back or just tell certain people, I don't know.... I don't know how Graecie would take it." Legs slowly adds "We're keeping enough secrets right?" Sausage agrees but warns Legs they need to be careful.
"He thought he was doing it, to you know, to protect. So, in a way he was trying to does- He pushed him off... but he pushed him because he thought that he would- We would bring him home... You know? And then everyone would get infected." Legs and then both at about the same time bring up that they aren't sure if Pyro really knew for certain Tim was corrupted. Jibble ends up making sad dragon noises and they both apologize but Sausage continues "We just have to keep an eye for that one because- I'm just scared that if one of us gets infected, one of us gets corrupted. You know we- we don't jump to Oh lets push this one over a cliff because we'll potentially save other lives. Let's quarantine maybe, put em away not directly in the academy."
Now this is where things get REALLY interesting. As Sausage said earlier "I didn't say they were always right" and he proves that during this talk with Legs. Cuz when Sausage said to quarantine Legs replies with "Except for Ash, except for the priest." Earlier in the week Sausage and Legs learned that Ash tested one of his spells on Graecie and it almost killed her. They did not take this news well and tf!Legs repeated multiple times he hated Ash because of it and Sausage told Legs "If there was a list that are doomed and potentially I might not save them if they need it. He's on that list." However now that he's had time to calm down. tf!Sausage becomes the voice of reason. "Well no." Legs tries to convince him though "We throw the priest, that would give us a reason." But Sausage keeps repeating No that even the priest would be quarantined, behind bars, that they would figure out a way.
That's not all. His next words are even more important "Their still part of this school, Pyros still part of the academy right? They're still one of us. We just can't turn on each other." Even after all his doubts about Pyro his anger of what Ash did to Graecie when he realizes that Legs might do something he'll regret Sausage reigns back and tries to set an example for him. He wants to protect everyone, even Pyro, even Ash, everyone.
tf!Legs stumbles with his words a bit here but Sausage can gather what he means and says "There's spies here, I know. Maybe Pyro is one of them. Maybe he's hot headed." Even when Sausage thinks Pyro might be one of the spies he still includes them in the people of the academy, people to be protected. Now I thought about making this a separate point but I think including this next part that Legs and Sausage discuss is important. It shows the worries of both of them and that Sausage might be putting on a brave face for others.
Legs admits to Sausage that he really wants to look smart. Sausage turns to him and says "You are smart. Listen, you're probably going to be the one that helps us out the most with your knowledge. You've read almost every book in that academy." Legs however starts to spiral a bit repeating "I'm going to ruin everything. I'm going to ruin everything, Sausage." But Sausage faces Legs and asks him "You're not going t- How do you know?" He waits for Legs to answer and Legs reminds him "You saw my book." Sausage almost exasperatedly says "That's the other... one... It wasn't-"
(Also for non Sausage and Legs views the her they are talking about is almost definitely Graecie. While it could technically also be Zam based on the wording it's more likely to be Graecie in this case.)
This next line from Legs breaks my heart as his voice acting.... He sounds so desperate.... "I don't want to hurt anybody, I don't want to hurt her. I don't wanna hurt-" Sausage cuts him off though talking firmly "We have a blueprint of what they did and how they failed. We're gonna just do what They didn't do and we're going to be victorious. We're just gonna just- Don't just follow that book word for word. It's not fate, it is just what happened before." Legs speaks again "Believe me I- It's the last thing in the world that I want." Without missing a beat Sausage tells Legs " We're not going to hurt her, we're not going to hurt anybody because what we're going to do it is. We're going to do whatever it takes... to make sure They go on." Legs doesn't know how to respond to this so Sausage continues "We'll do it together! Every one of those books they failed because they did it alone!"
But Legs has heard the books, he's been thinking about them too much. "But the one's that stayed together shouldn't've and I don't..." So Sausage says something I don't think Legs was expecting "Listen, if it's our time to go, at least we're going to go.... saving Them! So, don't be scared because we're put here to help. And we're gonna do it no matter what it takes and we can't be sacred beacuse then we'll fail Them." Legs utters a soft "Never, I'm not failing people again. I- I can't- can't. That's why- that's why I... That's why I left, and then... when you all caught me on the bridge.. I just- I'm so... I'm scared.... I'm scared of... what I'm going to become..... I don't like it, and I'm worried and I just- I need you to just- just- to just keep and eye on me and make sure that I'm not going down the wrong path."
Legs shared his worries, his fears, what he truly thinks and Sausage does the same. "No, no I got you. And then... the same thing for you because... I don't know what's going to happen... if we keep down this path now because... I've already shutdown twice. I've shutdown whenever I get too emotional or too... caught up in something and I don't know how to stop it. It's only going to get more stressful and more emotional, and I don't wanna... I don't wanna... Well, one shutdown or two... I don't wanna forget, because... I can't forget. Cuz I've already did that once and it.... there's probably someone out there waiting for me and I- I don't want you guys to be out there waiting for me one day thinking that I'm dead, or I'm gone. Okay, so whatever happens... If you find me and I'm not responding... just use your abilities, tie me down, and wait for it to pass. Cuz I don't wanna just wander out of here and never see you again...." Legs pauses and his next words are so kind. "I'll... I'll help you remember, if you help me remember, okay?" Sausage agrees quickly "Okay, deal."
(Also let it be known both Legs and Sausages acting in this moment had me so close to tears! I was not ready for this level of bricks after the Pyro conversation! Metals just wanna protect who they care about without hurting them....)
As they head back to the others Legs tells Sausage about dragon graveyard Pyro mentioned and asks if they can visit it together the next day. Neither have been there yet and Legs says that his book mentions that place and maybe he can learn more about what he's supposed to do, not supposed to do, he's not sure. Either way they'll go there tomorrow together.
Now that they are talking about the books Sausage mentions he's worried that he won't be enough. Now it's Legs turn to reassure Sausage "Hey, people are alive because of you. That little kid who gave you your name, they're alive because of you." Sausages voice sounds like it almost breaks as he says "That's true." Legs adds "That's gotta mean something." as Sausage continues. "I didn't even know- And I didn't even know them, imagine like now it's just... more responsibility now that... I've got so many people that... that I care about and- I can't let anyone down." Legs tells him "No, we're not going too." Sausage replies with a hesitant "I'll try..." Legs adding "That's the best we can do." They both agree and then Sausage has a thought.
"You know what, if it is... my time to go when it's time..." Legs tries to cut him off "Let's not talk about...." but Sausage continues "As long as I did what I could to save all of you, I'll gladly give my life for that." Legs however refuses. "Let's not talk about that, we're nowhere Near that, Sausage...." Legs stops and looks at Sausage as he turns back around to face him. Sausage asks "We gotta to think about it, no?... I'll do it." Legs asks him "Do we really have too?" Sausage walks back to Legs and calmly says "The time might come when we have to make a discission one day. I'm letting you know right now, if it's between me... and all of you.... I'm.. I'm- I'll make that choice.... I won't even think twice about it."
Legs struggles to find words spinning in a circle and unsure how to convey words so Sausage speaks again. "I won't be sacred.... I'll do what I can, till the last second. But if there's no choice... I'll gladly give my life for all of you." Legs finally finds his voice again half cutting him off "There's always a choice." However, Sausage has just had a similar talk so he calmly states "Not always." but Legs isn't giving up that easily. "Then we make a choice, we make it possible." They continue up the stairs as Sausage speaks "Well, we'll- we'll go through all the options but if there's... a moment that there has to be a decision made... I'll- I'll make that choice.... I'll do it." Legs can only give a soft okay as he watches Sausage go through the academy door and follows him shortly after.
After this Sausage calls it a night and they part ways, with Sausage promising to go to the dragon tomb with Legs. Just the two of them.
Gosh I swear they are all setting up for the most tragic story possibilities and I'm NOT READY!! Anyway this should be posting a couple hours before said dragon graveyard stream so.... Buckle up??

Spoilers from May 11th Flight streams for Graecie, Legs, and Sausages pov of a moment I wanted to share!!

This moment was so so good! It really shows just how much Celestial Metals is willing to do to protect each other!
Aka I snagged clips from Legs, Graecie, and Sausages POV of the moment the guys learn about Ash almost killing Graecie while testing a spell. They did NOT take it well!!
First up is them learning and the fact you can hear how serious Sausage sounds and the emotion in Legs voice! Sausage pulled out his spear instantly and Legs quickly followed with his own knife.
Then Graecie's pov of Legs and Sausage conversation is so good! Ash saying they are all friends.... Ya.... No they WILL remember that Ash.... And no matter what Graecie tries to say Sausage and Legs are gonna be keeping an eye on him now.
Legs- "I hate him- do we hate him? We hate him right?"
Sausage- "I'll remember that. He's on my list now."
Legs- "We hate him, yes."
Sausage- "Mhmm"
And then Legs and Sausage trying to tell her how it wasn't okay how he used her as a gunnie pig. They want her to be safe! No hurting Graecie! Also Sausage saying "If there was a list that are doomed and potentially I might not save them if they need it. He's on that list." And Legs adding that they are on the same page!! Protective metals hehehe
Chat said the three of them when Zam isn't present could be blessedmetals which is adorable. Metals are determined to keep blessed safe!
More thoughts on Flight Sausage based on clips from his streams cuz Martyn was back today and it reminded me of a convo tf!Sausage had with Juniper.

Starting off with the conversation Sausage and Juniper had in the June 16th stream in the new garden/arts wing.
After talking about Ros for a bit, Juniper mentioned it's hard to find good friends and quickly followed up that they consider him a friend. Sausage adding that he is here for Juniper and whatever they need.
This prompted Juniper to tell him about the thoughts she has been having about her magic and how it can relate to memories. That she might be able to help him.
Sausage still has no memories from before the lab and we only know pieces. It can play piano, knows how to fight, can build, and was probably in a battle or two before the academy based on the scars it has. The change in its voice here is so sad when Juniper gives Sausage a tiny bit of hope. "That would be so good. Nothing's ever returned... from anything past a month ago and I don't know what to do. I've given up almost."
And Juniper saying I'm sorry right after melts my heart but then Sausages almost defeated/flat "It's fine." just oooof.
Then right back to making me wanna cry his voice actually cracks when Juniper says he might be able to help Sausage find his memories. "That would be good."
After a short talk about how Juniper is getting more confident in her powers after the ritual to make the new crystal for Zam and how they are both proud of Legs Sausage admits another fear of his.
"I would love to know where I came from and if there's anyone out there that's missing me or... I'm just scared that it'll happen again and then I'll loose the memories of you guys and I'm just scared I- As long as it doesn't happen again you know. I'm okay if it never comes back, you know I'm not okay okay, but as long as it doesn't happen again. Like I don't think I can handle it if I forget all of you. So it happened once it can happen again, right? I don't know..."
And the thank yous after Juniper says he will see what he can do!! Then the almost panic telling him that if doesn't work that its okay and not to stress out about it. That it would owe Juniper forever. Sausage wants to know its past so bad but also you can tell its become less and less a priority has it focuses more on protecting and helping those within the academy.
I bring up this clip as our other amnesiac Martyn aka Meowtyn/Bubbles/Patricia/No Name/ect and she is still very much looking to get her memories back as well!
Before that though Sausage was very excited about art classes getting added and said that maybe he would know how to paint like he knows piano. Which reminds me of Fantasy smp where he made so many fun paintings with that mod! Artist Sausage time again would be so fun hehehe

Now back to the Martyn and Sausage talk. It was brought up after Sausage was giving Meowtyn a recap that it would be good to hear the name Patricia again. Sausage only calls them Bubbles and might even call them that if they find out their actual name.
With that said Bubbles said that their next order of business was to help Habana grow and that it would be nice to find their name. That when Bubbles finds themself that will grow the connection with their dragon. "How is she meant to connect with me if I don't even know who I am?"
Sausage says that he has a point, and it doesn't know who it is either. Though they can figure something out together and suggests a memory ritual. Making one probably with the help of Legs as he walks up after this clip.
What he says after is interesting as he says that the regaining memory ritual will probably be on the backburner as they have more pressing issues but one day.
While Bubbles wants to regain her memories soon and thinks she can Sausage always gets excited and hopeful only to crash back down with what ifs and uncertainty. He wants to know his past but as he told Juniper he's almost given up...
If and how they end up unlocking Sausages memories I have a feeling its gonna be tragic and very much involve why he has prosthetics and such. Shoot, Sausage even joked about being a prince this stream and I wouldn't put it past him or Mark to have foreshadowed that with Double Soul book written by the Solar Prince.
The more we learn about tf!Sausage the more I just really wanna know about the lore!! We even got confirmation that it can take off the prosthetics and has before!! Sausage could literally hand someone its copper arm to lend them a hand and it would be so funny. Though the convo leading up to that was Sausage talking about memories. So many questions!
Very excited to see what building a village and painting might help unlock with his memories. That and if they end up doing a memory ritual or get Junipers help. So many options and I can't wait to see what happens next!!
Okay!! I'm back again with another clip from the May 11th stream of the flight!! Aka I wanna yap about lore ^-^

as all of them were there for this moment
We got a big lore drop for Sausages backstory during a conversation between him and Aj!
When Aj asked the group if they have ever murdered someone before Sausage replied with a hesitant ya... Followed with he has had to a couple times to protect people.
After more questioning by Aj he told her about how some thieves were trying to steal from some people. He wasn't part of either group but heard screaming while in town and wanted to help.
Sausage took care of most of them but one of them had a little girl hostage with a knife to her throat. A small dagger, he thinks that they were a thieves guild and they wore red and black but no logos.
He had knocked all the others out but this last one holding the girl in a headlock with the dagger.... They wouldn't let go... Sausage trails off for a bit almost like he's either reliving the moment or unsure if he should continue. "So I... I kinda used my and I... punched him a little too hard.... um..."
When Aj asks if he didn't know his own strength he continues. "Ya, I wasn't used to these powers yet and I kind of um- his head came off."
Aj said that that was sick but the small oh you can hear from Legs and the silence from Graecie speaks volumes.
Sausage continues saying "Ya...It was pretty bad, I kind of shutdown there for a minute. That was the first time I ever shutdown." The last part is said in a rush, but he continues still "Um.. It was pretty violent so I promised not to go that crazy ever again."
Aj again exclaims how cool that is but he tells his story like he needs Graecie and Legs to hear it more. "But- But if I had to- defend people I... I guess I have to do what I have to do sometimes."
He adds oh he hopes he doesn't have to use it(his copper arm like that) but maybe Aj will get to see it one day if he has too. After that the topic is completely dropped and no one brings it up again.
This whole this is just oooof. Pair that with how serious he gets when protecting the other students... On the very first stream he said that if he sees others doing evil, he will fight to protect those who need it. Just like he's done with many of the students already even if he's protecting them from guards or other students. He's constantly putting himself between others and the danger. And after this story we know in canon he's will to kill if needed....
Also that being what caused him to have his first shutdown.... Oh tf!Sausage what have you been through! I think he deserves lots of hugs and cuddles.

Mostly providing all the context and wondering if yall see what I'm seeing??
So, this all started cuz of Sausages talking in this clip and Penroses comment about Sausage and his magic in the summer kingdom
The two he's talking about is Beep Boop aka Robo Sausage and tf!Sausage. "There's two different people technically." "We'll get into more lore about why there's two of them later on, but you know he did- There was a lab explosion.... and maybe, you know, whatever was being done didn't get finished. So, that's why there's not... They're separate. Whatever was happening didn't quite go according to plan."
As for the comment Penrose made it was after Sausage told the professor he harnessed the power of the sun. "Oh! You must be feeling very important then in our glorious sun empire."
It reminded me that one of the earlier books made mention of a solar prince and I figured it might be worth rereading. I'm glad I did!
On April 30th Zam found a book in the secret secret library titled Double Soul by Prince Solar. Juniper was the first one to read it though Sausages reaction is interesting "Oh! That's a good one! pick that one up." even more so after he hears mention of solar magic and the author of the book.
On top of that it was actually Sausage who suggested that this book could be related to the doppelganger. That the book mentioning Solar was him, Legs is Iron, Bless is Graecie, but then struggled to place who could be Mana and goodness. This then turned into telling the others about the whole doppelganger thing though Sausage said he felt it was really important.

Now this might all be wild coincidence.... It's very very possible that I'm connecting dots that aren't meant to be connected but another interesting thing to note. This was also the same stream that tf!Sausage first shut down in front of Zam and the other Celestial Metals.
Now I'm not saying Sausage is a doppelganger, but I do think this Double Soul book might have been foreshadowing. Two souls within a body, two different people. We also don't know what type of person tf!Sausage was before the lab accident.
The reason I bring that up is the book Megii found in a tower on June 11th. Last Tower by The Last Captain.
The tower rose above the capital like a dark spear, its crystal heart glowing purple and white against the blackened sky. Long ago, many towers guarded the kingdom.
Dragon riders brought mana from their bond with their dragon, and dragons breathed ancient fire into the crystals, turning raw magic into a shield bright enough to hold back corruption.
But the riders vanished.
The dragons grew old, scattered, or died.
One by one, the towers went dark.
Only the tower outside The Capital still worked, though no one truly knew why. We suspect the Queen knew... Its mana crystal pulsed weakly casting a great shield over the city walls. Some nights it shimmered like glass. Other nights it flickered.
And when it flickered, things slipped through.
Twisted wolves with hollow eyes. Birds with too many wings. Ghasts from the Nether. Whispers that crawled under doors.
Everyone feared the day the final crystal went dark.
Because when the last tower failed, the kingdom would stand alone.
After reading this Megii asked if captains potentially guard the towers and Sausage said each tower could have had a captain in charge of keeping it safe. Megii then brings up when their roots mentioned a captain. However, they don't fully discuss what that could mean as they get distracted talking about over thinking things.
Though this makes his earlier comment of the tower being familiar even more interesting... Did you used to protect a tower tf!Sausage??
This is what Megii said during the roots convo
"My roots spread out into the floor. Three unknown names. One a tree, one a cat, one a copper. Three shadows.... No names. A captain! Three shadows.... three shadows. No names..... Wait, they're slipping? Wait, wait, wait! This is new... The memories are fading? My roots... they're freezing. No memories, a memory forgotten."
Before they can think more Megii is freed from the earth and jumps back. Megii is confused as that was different. Like the roots were done with them, not wanting to say anything else. Juniper adds sometimes nature is funny like that as Sausage asks if something blocked it from saying anything else.
Megii continues "No.. They just said there was a freeze with no memories and a memory forgotten by purpose, not by accident."
tf!Sausage as explained by Sausage has no memories until he woke up in an apothecary lab warehouse looking building in the middle of nowhere that was exploded with lab equipment and wires everywhere. That he doesn't know what caused the explosion or who, if someone tried to stop it, if he short circuited, or who created him.
That when he woke up he saved a mother and her child from the rubble and felt like the sun gave him energy after he got them out of there. The family took him to their home an hour walk away and he carried the child back cuz they were hurt and Sausage was also beat up. He stayed in the barn for about a week to recover and the kid gave him his name silly little sausage. He doesn't know his real name or if anyone is looking for him. He walked around the area for miles and no one knew who he was or why he was there.
His backstory before that is completely blank right now. We know he knows one song on the piano, that he has fighting skills, is good with a blade, and knows how to build.
He's gone from thinking he just had a robotic arm and leg to thinking he has more robotics than he thought. Ooc with Mark he confirmed that maybe even one of his eyes is connected and MrMadSpy could blind him if he goes back into the crypt. That something in tf!Sausages head makes him switch.
Now I know thats a lot of info!! But.... That's because we still need to piece together who Beep Boop aka Robo Sausage and who tf!Sausage was before this all happened. This is why I look at the Double Soul book again.
One half calls like salvation, warm and radiant, promising healing, truth, and peace. The other half devours hope, feeding on fear, guilt, and longing.
Sausage is constantly flipping between being reassuring and optimistic and then saying devastating what ifs that have been known to cause fear and anxiety.
This paired with the comment Professor Penrise made about prosthetic being given to people who lost limbs due to corruption. Maybe this is nothing.... I just think it's all info that might be worth keeping in mind.

This will involve spoilers for Sniff, Martyn, and Sausages May 22 stream povs! Also, some spoilers of Legs stream from the previous stream from Sniff.
Megii is also there but wasn't streaming, however it's because of their power we learn what might be HUGE lore for these three.

Starting this from Sniffs pov as Juniper!
I want to give context for the whole thing so I went back and will be adding info from all the povs mentioned above for this! We start with the lead up of how this seemed to have kicked off.
However if you wanna skip to the Lore Drop, scroll till you see more blue text like this. It'll be right under that!
Juniper was looking around for music disks and noticed a lack of art classes. He found the records in a classroom but then heard Shelby just briefly. After looking around a bit more for other discs they found Shelby, Drift and Scott talking, huddled up in the corner of a classroom. The only thing that is heard is Scott saying when he confronted them on it, they deflected before Shelby sees Juniper and says hello causing the conversation to halt. Drift calls it a book club, and the others agree as Juniper apologizes for interrupting. Scott says they are getting plans ready for the party and promise to go there soon. As Juniper leaves he hears them hushedly talking but then Sausage sees him in the hallway and excitedly says its party time and asks if he's ready. Juniper follows him to the Lupi dorm and the focus shifts to the party for a bit.
That is until Juniper has an idea after talking with Megii as she was grilling. Sausage wasn't sure at first if he was allowed to stay backing up slowly but Juniper told him he was okay and just had something she wanted to ask. Juniper asked Megii if they might know why some of her dormmates might be hiding in the corner. Juniper went on to explain that it looked like they were having a meeting and felt weird, he just wanted to know if Megii may have ideas what they were up too. However, Megii didn't and Sausage asked who it was, so Juniper told them Scott, Shelby, and Drift. They all agree it's weird they were hiding in the corner basically and Megii says they can go bug Drift to try and get some information for Juniper. He admits he wants to connect with his dormmates more which Megii says they understand.
Juniper then asks Megii if they have noticed the lack of art classes in the academy and Megii says they have a watercolor set but no place to use it. Even Bubbles (Martyn) comments that with the ritual circles they have to draw you would think they would give them an art related class. Juniper adds that the academy as they understand it was meant to be used for more than just dragon riding and should be a school in general. Adding that she thought maybe she just missed it not having seen all of the academy. Megii suggests they get a book for people to sign and if enough people sign they may be able to get the guards to talk to Mr Professor about adding one but Bubbles and Juniper doesn't have much hope. Though the talk then shifts to they don't even need a professor for the class just a place to keep the art supplies and use it and even suggest turning a dorm into it or a less used classroom though Juniper says it would be scary having that many people in his dorm. Then they end up looking around the party wondering where everyone is realizing they have awhile before the party starts.
Juniper asks Megii if they wanted to join her to walk around the school together and get a chance to hang out more. They explore around the academy making sure there isn't actually an art room that both of them missed. First however Juniper shows Megii the corner they saw Drift, Scott, and Shelby in, and Megii says that that seems pretty suspicious. This is when Juniper decides to tell them about the spy book that Legs found in the cave. Juniper says she only found out about the book yesterday when they went back there to look around more but didn't find anything. (If you have seen Legs pov then you know this is not exactly how this happened. Juniper brought him there after the Dragon Crypt incident and was taking care of him till he woke up multiple days later.) Megii mentions that that is strange as Drift took them to the cave and she found a book that she wouldn't let Megii read and the book really upset Drift. Juniper tells them that she doesn't really wanna spend time being suspicious of her classmates because it seems like everyone has the same goal. Along with that are people at the academy seemly that were forced in against their will, complicated and worrying. Megii admits they worry too, as there is a lot of pressure especially wondering if they are doing enough for their dragon Glyph.
They spend some time looking for hidden rooms and around hoping to run into Jibble as he would know if there was an art room or an unused classroom. Juniper takes a moment though to says that he hopes Megii doesn't mind him speaking so casually with them, admitting that he feels comfortable around the nature magic students. Megii understands telling Juniper how they had spent time talking with Elaina the other day and that their magics just seemed to fit together. Hearing this Juniper mentions what she thinks was the second time she turned into a tree and how Elaina was really nice about it and that when the nature users say it's cool it feels like it means something.
Megii tries to explain how there is a tightness in their chest frequently when talking with others or about their magic. Admitting that they've had some difficulties this week and it's nice to know there are others with magic similar to theirs. That seeing them confident in their magic it reminds Megii they can feel that way too. Juniper says yes but is surprised that Megii thinks she is confident in her magic admitting she feels the complete opposite about it. Telling Megii that most of the time her tree form is triggered from stress and she can only occasionally do it when concentrating. The fact he doesn't feel very expressive having something that requires his emotions on display feels really vulnerable.
Juniper also says that they grew up in an isolated area so talking with people is a struggle often which Megii shares the sentiment. Adding that they are from a small village and didn't get along with anyone. Juniper then asks Megii what the village name was and they say Keld and its pretty far west of the academy. If you follow the big river really far you could probably fine where it was... and they trail off saying it's a long story. Juniper tells Megii about the similar story that Legs told him in Thistlehill which isn't far from where he is from and how he's nervous about home. Megii asks if Juniper misses home and she says all of them time and she thinks about leaving to go home often, but she does love being here even with all the crazy things that go on at the academy. They love learning, growing, and it's nice to meet people their age. After three years of copying books it's nice to experience what she read even if it's scary.
He then adds that he misses his moms and sisters, or half of them. When Megii questions how many Juniper tells them they have 4 sisters. Willow was the oldest, then Laurel, Olive, Rowan and then Juniper herself is the youngest. Whispering that she has learned that having two moms isn't very common here. Megii asks really and Juniper tells them that multiple people seem to have been surprised by the news. Megii says that's strange as back at their village because people were just themselves and they would come together and decide to spend their life together. Where Juniper is from the don't care as long as people have children as they worried about the population of the village and keeping it alive. A kind of don't ask don't tell policy which her moms never liked but better than not being allowed, calling it complicated.
Megii takes this chance to ask Juniper if ONE means anything to them. When Juniper asks if Megii meant the number, they confirm yes but it doesn't mean anything to Juniper. Megii begins to run around a bit saying never mind and that it's strange, but Juniper asks if she can ask why. She doesn't want to push and after a short moment of hesitance Megii tells Juniper what has been happening with their magic the last few days. How it's been acting strange. Megii can now hear things now and they tell her things. They think it's the roots from the nearby trees or their own roots in a way. Juniper asks for confirmation that the trees told Megii ONE, and just the number one. They confirm yes, specifically when they look at Juniper. Megii adds that the roots haven't led her astray so far and they've been learning to trust them. Juniper quietly echoes one and then interrupts Megii asking if it's Only when they look at him or have they felt it in other places too. Megii says that now Juniper has mentioned it that they have felt it in other places too and when they look at other people. Saying it depends, but the roots say ONE quite a bit when they look at specific people. Juniper asks if it's okay he asks who, curious if it's people that he interacts with a lot. Megii doesn't see why not and tells Juniper that yesterday it was Legs and she confirms that she hung out with Legs quite a bit that day.
Juniper takes this chance to admit that they felt bad not telling Megii and the others this but they were in the spy cave the same day as them. She had said her and Legs were checking stuff out, but he wasn't feeling great and she didn't want to tell them, as he was a bit embarrassed by it. Juniper doesn't want to spill the details as it's Legs thing and why they were there. Juniper says Legs had a bit of a magic moment and she had remembered the cave from when they rescued Kara and Sparklez, so she brought him there thinking it would be a safe place that students wouldn't go. Juniper then talks about how young Legs is and how they feel bad for him and is trying to keep an eye out for him. Megii admits that he seemed upset yesterday and probably rightfully so with it being a big day, but things turned around. Juniper tells Megii that Legs is still processing the books that everyone has been getting. Megii remarks they aren't easy reads and they can understand that.
Juniper shifts the topic to tell Megii that Legs made a point that she should be a bit more truthful about what she is doing, as he doesn't want her to be suspicious either. When Megii asks truthful how, Juniper says since they found out about the spies Graecie thought that Juniper himself was a spy. Megii is surprised by this and Juniper continues "I know! Which would be really funny. If I was a spy, I would be doing a pretty shit job about it. No offense or- excuse my language." Going on to tell Megii how he saved everyone on the first day. Megii being honest with Juniper said that everyone seems so suspicious about the spies, but they don't even know what they are after. They don't understand why everyone is so negative towards them without knowing what they are doing. Juniper adds that as someone who knows a lot about the storm realm he understands... It's scary. But Juniper also understands Megii as she likes to seek the truth and if she met one of the spies would wanna ask them a bunch of questions. Megii understands this as well and says they would too, adding they don't want anyone to think poorly of them but it's hard to make a decision when they don't know what the spies are after. Juniper says that's completely reasonable and that they are in the same boat. She wants to know everything regardless of what side and finds it interesting but is scared to share that as everyone could get suspicious.
Juniper then tells Megii if they ever wanted to do some snooping with her, she would be down. Megii quickly says okay as Juniper continues saying that with their magical powers Megii could sense than her. Megii adds on that with Junipers magic of being able to turn into a tree that there is probably a connection there which has them curious. Juniper shifts the topic to mention they have been having weird dreams or what they've been writing off as such. He'll be inside a tree and he can see through it like every leaf is an eye that's closing in on him. Juniper has an axe within the dream every time, like he's trying to cut it down but says it's really freaky. She's been trying to ignore it, thinking it's just school jitters and anxiety.
Cattail aka Bubbles decides to make himself known asking if the dream could be a metaphor for birth scaring both Juniper and Megii. They both call her by different names so she says it's whatever they want to call her so Megii suggests Reed as another name as they remind them of them by the river. Another new name accepted Reed writes it down as Juniper asks how long they were listening to them, but he doesn't give a time saying he's bad with time and it could have been an hour or ten minutes. So they ask if Reed heard anything in particular and he talks about the dream being about birth again, but after that admits to hearing some before that as well. So, Juniper asks hesitantly if Reed knows anything about the spies or rumors. This takes her by surprise as the first part of the conversation she heard was Juniper telling Megii "Listen, if you ever want to do some snooping" which was after they had finished the spy talk. Reed admits to this and Juniper says maybe he spoke to soon but now Reed is curious and asks about the spies.
Oli pops by for a bit but ends up leaving soon after as Juniper and Megii get them caught up on when Kara and Sparklez were captured and who was there. About the book about spies Legs found in the cave and where it is near the tower. Reed hasn't seen this cave but mentions one with a tree that both Megii and Juniper is confused about not having been in the place before. Reed realizes she can just go get the book and runs off to go fetch it. Though he does hang around the corner for a bit to hear what they would talk about with him gone but leaves after a bit to actually go get it. Reed starts to wonder if the spies are working with the corruption but they are unsure what information spies would be after as the corruption isn't subtle and just turns up. After getting the book she gets back to the room and passes Sausage huddled in the same corner she had been now listening to Megii and Juniper still talk. However Reed doesn't stop and just walks back in to show them the book with Sausage following behind.
While Reed was gone Megii and Juniper talk about how that is something they should probably see. Megii adds that it makes sense as last time they were in the capitol there was roots in the sewer that they saw. They didn't think anything of it thinking it was from an old tree. Juniper brings up the large stump or great stump and how its roots must travel all over the island. Megii ponders about a tree inside as Juniper mentions the story the guard told about the tree and how he wants to know where it is and if Megii can sense then maybe. Juniper asks when they went to the stump if they heard ONE then. Megii doesn't think so, saying it was mostly when they were in that one cave. Adding that they often times hear the roots when around different individuals. Not being able to pin when they talk to them.
Reed then tells them about the book, how after coming out one of the sewer grates he found this book. They then read it out loud "Blood fills the air, Corruption has taken its toll on the world. Dragons will save us. HA HAHAHAHAHA He will save us. His roots will spread and cleanse this world. And we will be the apples in his Garden of Heavens." Reed then makes copies for them as Sausage says that the tree guy seems obsessed with trees. Reed adds its more cult or fanatical sort of thing which the others agree with. Juniper points out the book isn't signed which Reed says that she was unsure about it but the mention of roots earlier made her think of it. Juniper asks them if they saw the giant stump outside the capitol which neither Reed or Sausage has. Juniper explains where it is by the students graves and how it's always been there and Sausage finally remembers it not realizing it was a stump.
This is when Megiis powers get brought up and how they can hear and sense roots, explaining it's something new with their magic. They don't know if it's just trees around them or stemming from their own magic but they get flickers of imagery. Reed then interrupts asking if its roots for anything or specifically mana infused roots. Juniper jumps in to say he thinks all plants have mana in them or at least it's been his theory recently. Sausage seems to agree and Reed adds that everything with a life force has something going on. Juniper agrees saying anything alive probably have some semblance of magic. Sausage asks how far the system of roots go with trees being everywhere, how far can they take it.
Megii nervously says it's not easy and really scary. Trying to explain it best they can how they are given a choice to spread their roots. Megii has only done it twice but it's not their favorite thing to do as they get stuck and they are unsure if they can- Sausage adds an oh no as Reed asks if the roots come out their toes. Megii continues that it's hard to explain but they get rooted into the earth and they can't move. They see things, hear things, and it's a lot. Juniper and Sausage agree that that's scary as Reed adds magic is weird. Juniper also mentions that as much as people say nature magic is beautiful physical transformations are really weird and uncomfortable. Megii does admit they have learned quite a bit from the two times they were rooted. Asking if they know where the garden is behind the kitchen. Sausage does but Reed does not and she learns how it was destroyed and all the animals killed.
Sausage also adds the story of how he lost his power in there with his mana gone. How he felt cold but today however it seems fine. Juniper mentions a similar feeling in the dragon crypt to which Reed says he had that happen in the crypt as well. Megii asks if Juniper was there yesterday and she explain she was there with Scott, Shebly and Drift like a week back. Megii says that the crypt is a place they wouldn't like to go back to and Sausage agrees saying he'll never go back.
Juniper suggests that when they get better at controlling their tree transformation maybe Megii could practice but then realizes they aren't sure if they count as a tree. Megii says maybe and reminds everyone that it's something they can't exactly control and it's happening right now actually. Everyone tries to figure out what they need. Sausage remarking he doesn't have magic to pull them out and Reed asking if they have any magic to disrupt it. Megii says that's what Legs thought but they don't really wanna be ripped from it. If it's a part of them then they don't want to be ripped apart. Sausage realizes what if they pulled something they weren't supposed to by trying that and it could be very bad. Juniper adding like it's when people tug on their branches.
Still trying to figure out what to do Megii says that the roots see something unknown in front of them, asking them in they want to root and push to find. Sausage looks at Reed and she says maybe it'll find her name. Sausage then realizes it might be his name or stuff he doesn't know about, that it could help. Both have lost memories, Reed only having from the elevator on while Sausage has a month before arriving there. Juniper tells Megii that the two in front of them barely know about each other but quickly adds they don't have to do it if they don't want too. Sausage agrees saying of course of course as Juniper asks if Megii wants to hold her hand not knowing what to do.
Megii says that the only way the only way they have been able to get out when they root down is if they have been with others. That that's consistently what helps pull them out. Hearing this both Reed and Sausage step up telling them they can do that and Sausage offers his hand. Megii says it's really scary though and that if they do this not to go anywhere. Sausage reassures he would never leave as Juniper adds to consider him rooted too. Hearing this Sausage repeats "We're all rooted right now with you." Megii says they will give it a try and Sausage continues whispering that they will get them out of there to try to help reassure.
Megii tells them they will start pushing their roots down but first Juniper looks at Reed and mentions maybe they'll learn what his name is. Sausage is excited by this and gets Reed to scootch in closer as Megii begins.

Before they can think more Megii is freed from the earth and jumps back. Megii is confused as that was different. Like the roots were done with them, not wanting to say anything else. Juniper adds sometimes nature is funny like that as Sausage asks if something blocked it from saying anything else.
Megii continues "No.. They just said there was a freeze with no memories and a memory forgotten by purpose, not by accident."
Juniper turns to look at the two with no memories as an "Oh." escapes. Reed says she's no good at riddles as Juniper asks "Maybe that means that one of you guys... purposely don't remember something?" Reed says they don't remember a whole lot of anything as Sausage says how he would love to know more and wouldn't purposeless block anything. That he would love to know about himself. Megii says that may not have been a decision that Sausage made and Juniper asks if he has a maker.
Sausage guesses so as he couldn't have done this to himself and Juniper wonders if someone did something to Reed. Megii asks if any of them know about a captain but they question if its a ship captain or a guard or army but no one knows. They start talking about pirates and how the crime professor was pirate like but did die recently. Reed adds they'll keep a note of captain and they should maybe recheck the book in the library and look for mention of it. That on a reread they might notice the word now they are looking for it. Megii is just confused as they don't think the kingdom uses captain in the military ranking and they use commanders instead. Though Juniper mentions it could be about the guards instead.
Megii let's them know that this confirms for them that their roots sense mana and were sensing the groups mana. Megii hopes they will be able to help people with this power. Sausage would love to remember while Juniper asks if they could help them find the tree. Megii mentions that if they did find it that either them, Juniper, or someone would have to know something. They agree and Juniper apologizes. Reed adding they stumbled into the wrong conversation. Juniper and Sausage both say no as Reed laughs and lets them know she's a bit worries Captain could be an anagram for cat pain. They all try to say it couldn't be but then Juniper get's distracted asking Reed how they ended up like a cat.
She doesn't remember her birth but she thinks she's always been like this and not a recent development. Juniper mentions he was talking with Legs and is unsure if they have seen his blue situation which they have not. After Juniper mentions experiments, Reed says that Legs is his neighbor and asks if he should block up the crawl tunnel. Sausage quickly says nah as Legs wouldn't hurt a fly and Juniper exaggerates calling him five before correcting to nineteen. Sausage continues saying Legs is fine and just wants to help, no one to worry about.
Reed goes over the info they have "Roots, captain, and what do we know about these spies? Where did that initially come from?" Megii says it came from the cave and all they know is there are a few in the academy, but people have died so the number may be different. Reed asks if they are spies for the Corruption, the storm ravens, or what. Megii confirms its the storm ravens and that they don't know their plan at all but they tried capture Kara and Sparklez. Reed asks how they got freed and Megii explains that a guard came and got them and told them. Them, Legs, Zam, and a few others went and there was wraiths and Zam killed a few and Legs used his powers to rescue them. No one else was there though when they got to the cave. Sausage mentions that that means the wraiths may be working with the spies but Megii isn't sure. So Sausage ponders if the spies can control the wraiths.
Reed tells the group that the storm ravens are the corruptions equivalent of the dragons but they only got big because the dragons allowed them to protect their small ones. That the storm ravens syphoned magic from the dragons nests. Reed isn't sure how they are still so big if that relationship has been splintered for so long. Juniper adding maybe they aren't before Reed continues saying maybe there are spies that will grow their dragons from here and fly them straight to the storm ravens and use them like a mana battery to help buff the crows up. They give maybes but Juniper reminds that that doesn't explain why they would capture students. Reed however says that the students have dragons to be grown which makes the students a biproduct. The students help the dragons become more agreeable and docile, that's the only reason he can think for them to kidnap students. Sausage pipes up saying that it's not like they can control the dragons as the dragons are connected to the students. A duo deal.
Juniper is unsure how this has to do with the corruption. Reed says that they just try to weasel their way in any way they can thought it's normally more in your face and takes over slowly. Though they could be trying to be more tactile and sneaky. Megii asks if that's what the roots meant to meet three shadows. Sausage and Reed both mention that it could be spy related while Juniper mentions that there are three of us (Juniper, Sausage, and Reed) here but also agrees it could be three spies. Reed wonders if the three shadows are lurking by them because they are the next to be taken. This gets many oh nos and Sausage says that this conversation may not have been a coincidence.
Juniper tells them about the other day when Legs grabbed her with his magic and how her magic doesn't like to be contained and freaks out a lot. Reed questions Legs restraining them and Juniper simple says that he was having a moment. Sausage goes to ask if it was in the crypt as Reed asks if it was a loose cannon moment or was Legs testing his magic for a future kidnapping. Juniper says they think a loose cannon moment and that the dragon crypt made him weird but they should talk to him about it. Reed says that his dragon got weird in the crypt trying to cross the bridge. Sausage tells them that he completely shutdown in the crypt and was away for two days and doesn't remember what happened. Graecie and Lukey were there, and he thought Lukey caused it when he arrived out of nowhere thinking he was a spy but it was the crypt itself. Trying to explain that copper combined with the iron isn't good for him. Megii tells them how they ran an errand in the crypt the day before for Mr Professor that their mana was depleted entirely. How they were terrified and saw and heard things there, their roots acting erratically but their dragon Glyph was fine even content there.
Reed says that whenever their dragons grow and Hibana can fly she's flying them straight to the crypt and over the broken bridge. That Hibana almost went into the lava standing on the edge of the bridge desperate to see the other side and Megii said Glyph was the same. Juniper says before they all have to leave for the party that if they do find the spies that he wants to know what their motives are. The sun realm isn't telling them anything. Reed asks who she has mentioned it too so far and confirms just them and Megii. Sausage starts to say something about jumping to conclusions, but Marm walks in and the group tells her they were just catching up and head to the party together.
Now I got a lot of theories on the three shadows, no names, and how one of their memories was forgotten by choice! This could be a long running thread that we will slowly get more information for or could be discussed more today!! Either way I'm so so excited for more flight lore!!
