In “celebration” of the new Flight Feathers chapters I’ve been writing, I’m going to drop a bunch of lore on y’all :)

So! The basics:

Flight Feathers takes place in an urban city in a world where humans and Hybrids coexist. I haven’t actually named the city so if anyone wants to drop suggestions I’d be grateful and might use them 😅

Hybrids: Most of the population are either humans or Hybrids, and Hybrids are just humans crossed with animals. They’re NOT bioengineered or created, and just exist naturally. When two Hybrids of different species have a kid, the kid will take after one Hybrid species, not both.

Hybrid types: There are several “Hybrid types” used to group different Hybrids. These inclusion avians (birds), reptilians (reptiles), and semi-quadrupeds (able to stand on four limbs). These simplify categorizing Hybrids.

Chimeras: There are multiple (yes, multiple) Chimeras characters, including Scott/Aeor. Chimeras are not naturally occurring creatures, and instead were/are created by forcing two different Hybrids’ DNA to mix. They’re mostly experimented on by their creators, and the majority either live less than a year or up to around three or four years (with rare exceptions).
