Thinking about Seer and Disco in the Madkit and Traitorspace universe, I thought it’d be fun to swap Seer and Disco around too! Disco is doing a little better in the mental state and isn’t half as bad as their actual counterpart </3
Seer, the lead scientists right hand with an erratic crystal that shifts colors every few seconds. Her apathy only increased after the incident and she wields no regrets to the lives she must take, not while this crystal glows above her head keeping whatever sickness tries away from her with staticky but invisible bursts. She doesn’t live in Crossroads, she has no reason to.
Disco, previously Subspace’s assistant now demoted due to being an accomplice, in his escape. They live in Crossroads with badly bandaged burns and cuts on their arms and legs, they feel half blind as they fiddle with broken bits of mirrors to make more of those disco bombs they were so known for.
Seer, who kills without a word, she doesn’t torture, no. She prefers quick deaths over screaming unless it’s interrogation. She’s still missing an eye, yes, but her gear works perfectly with that cracking crystal that had broken the top giving it more power than before.
Disco, who brings the True Eye classified documents from Korblox and sees them as a better family to be near when they’re inevitably thrown to the cold of Blackrock, the warmth of Lost Temple is unusual but not unwelcome, though they have no proper healer.

SUCH a banger. I believe it's very underrated and deserves more respect for its craft. Also, the guy who wrote this (I believe?) Works for Disney, and is a part of the better half of Good and Evil. One of my favorite Tally Hall songs like, ever. ^^

HAD to include Laufey, no contest. Laufey is SUCH A good music artist, and this song in particular was a song from her EP, ' Typical Of Me ' !!!! The piano really makes it feel cozy and makes me feel warm and happy inside. Most laufey songs are SO SOSOOSOSO good though, so I chose one of my favs 😓 this is because every so often I binge the entire EP and can't really choose which belongs in my top 5 (every time someone butchers her music another person gets possessed by an evil spirit.)

want to start off by saying that I will also binge the entirety of The Big Big Deal by tv room. this is a song that when I saw it I said "yeah this is going on my top 5". When it first came out I listened to it like 40 times in less than 2 days. I LOVED this song, and still do!!! it has a weightlessness feel to it and it talks about being online (which I fear is me) and how it's easier to cater to others from a digital used perspective. JiJi is one of my FAVORITE artists because her style (haha one of her song reference) is so silly and joyous and whimsical. I recommend her SO MUCH!!! raahhhhh anyways this song is great

"Say, Hyperlaser, you got time to fit in another request?" Disco practically purred the words, that saccharine charm they put up never dulled for a moment even when talking to someone so deadly, he'd never put his gear to their head.
"Depends." The Inphernal replied simply, ignoring whatever amount of charm Disco tried to put up unlike a lot of the others they convinced to do some dirty work. "What is it."
"Well, I just need you to grab this little Inphernal real quick, not kill, just grab. I need them for... reasons." Disco explained simply, handing Hyperlaser a picture of the Inphernal they wanted, that little runt from Playground that Hyperlaser saw as a shaky acquaintance with how friendly they were. "I mean, it'll be quick and easy I'm-"
"No."
"What..? Come on Hyper, it's not THAT bad! I just need you to grab them!" Disco falsely pleaded, they didn't care for such... genuine feelings, they never did, perhaps that's why most hated them and their careless nature.
"I don't know what kind of monster you and Subspace take me for but I'm not bringing someone into your glorified torture session. My answer is no, and that's final."
"Oh please, like you're any better! You've spilled more blood than me and Subspace combined! You can't be talking-"
Hyperlaser grabbed them by the collar of their shirt, a rather hostile move from the usually calm inphernal.
"Listen here you egotistical sadist, unlike you and Subspace I don't get adrenaline from hearing people scream. I'm not the one who gets delight from hearing their victims suffer a prolonged death! My kills are quick."
"You little-!"
"Save it." Hyperlaser spoke gruffly as he dropped them with no care, walking away without much worry to whatever empty threats they gave.
"Fine! I'll get someone else to do it!"

Disco scoffed as they walked through the tunnel, remembering that interaction with... less than fond emotions, but no matter, they had reached the end of this magical tunnel and opened that door to the burning desert of Lost Temple, they dressed relatively light for this reason, horns glimmering in the sun just slightly.
"Let's get this over with."
Disco handed over their pay, not Bux, no, but classified files from Korblox, plans they had copied as to not seem too suspicious, in turn? Father Overseer had Scythe hand Party over.
A quick exchange, but one nonetheless, barely any words and no verbal greetings besides quick nods of heads as things were passed between before Disco walked through that door again.
"Let us get back to The Church, I have a feeling someone has already visited." Father Overseer stated, beginning to walk back which caused Scythe to follow, her curiosity was short-lived since she made her own realization as to who must've visited.
Medkit.

"...Damnit." Medkit cursed under his breath, he was already exhausted and now he was here... Broker had sent him on a path that only led to disappointment, enough time for Party to already be gone as Medkit began his trek back to The Church, he needed to... have a word with Broker.
Or should he return to Crossroads to try and get a better idea? Perhaps Seer could be of use even without her gear in this situation, though she was very busy and now had a Biograft with her almost 24/7 due to Blackrock being a little less safe than it usually was.
Medkit paused in his steps, looking at the sky to see the hues slowly shifting from bright blue to purples and pinks, had he really been out that long..? Whatever, he decided to begin a walk to Crossroads despite how exhausted he was from Broker's lies leading him nowhere.
Wandering through the desert at night wasn't particularly safe, especially because of them, The Redcliff Wranglers, but Medkit was used to it, he was keeping himself as hidden as he could be while walking back to Crossroads..
Even if that meant having to walk past the remains of The Scorch, that horrific event he never wished to be reminded of due to... everything he was told.

Party let out a groan as they slowly woke up, damn their head hurt worse than a party headache, they were still tied up just... colder now, they could only really tell they were in Blackrock at seeing their own breath come in soft puffs of air, it was freezing cold... oh dear.
They were still gagged and could barely move with where they were, but a muffle yelp came from behind that gag when something way too sharp poked into their side just enough to pierce their skin and cause a light trickle of blood, a Biograft's weapon.
"Alright, Zeta 064, they're awake, thanks for confirming, you can leave now."
"AFFIRMATIVE."
The metal footsteps of the Zeta were barely noticeable to Party, with their breathing being far too panicked and shallow as well as their general panic at being in Blackrock.
"Oh, don't act so scared." Disco waved a hand dismissively at Party's obvious fear, walking over to tilt the head of the runt in front of them. "It won't hurt too badly, besides! Nothing personal! Well, I guess a little personal."
Disco tilted their head at Party's squirming, delighting in whatever panic they were putting into the little inphernal's mental state, it made them smile. "Oh! I'm sure you'll be delighted to see what I'm working on! Well-"
Disco turned away, grabbing some little device before pressing a button that made Party wince in pain at a burning sensation on their arms, a painful sensation like keeping your hand in a fire.
"Marvelous, isn't it?! Oh, oh, Subspace helped me with it! It's so fun, I can do this... and this and..."
Disco began droning on as Party was... suffering, to say the least, tears streamed down their face as different sensations of pain dappled their body like rain, if rain was made of fire, spikes, and what felt like liquid nitrogen.
Disco was going on and on... they barely noticed when there were footsteps down the hall, though at this point they were just saying nonsense as they used the little device every once in a while to make Party squirm and shake.
"Disco."
A firm voice spoke from the doorway which opened with a quiet creak, the scientist stopped and whipped their head to the door, blinking a few times before groaning.
"What do you want Hyper-"
"Quiet." Hyperlaser snapped, ignoring them entirely and going straight to where Party was to untie them and pick them up while they cried, it made Disco seethe... but Hyperlaser? He didn't care, he just looked to Disco with a glare, shifting a bit to summon his gear and blast a shot at the device causing it to shatter.
"YOU LITTLE RAT-!"
Hyperlaser ignored them, he just walked off to his quarters with Party crying against his shoulder like a scared child, he knew something was off when Disco was ranting about nothing while he passed by, just some random garbage to talk about while causing someone innocent horrific pain. Normally he wouldn't care, with Disco being a higherup, but... this was Party, he wasn't exactly fond of the idea of them being hurt or worse.

A meow greeted Hyperlaser when he opened the door, Princess tilted her fluffy head as her owner couldn't greet her with a pet on the head making her meow again.
Hyperlaser set Party down on a chair before moving to get the first-aid kit he kept in his room for emergencies, petting Princess before she went to hop up on Party's lap to comfort them by purring and rubbing her head against their stomach, they began lightly petting her with a soft cough here and there due to the taste of that gag still being in their mouth.
He had walked back by now, gently beginning to tend to Party with some difficulty, mostly because they kept flinching. "I don't mean to hurt you more, but you need to sit still."
They nodded with a soft sniffle, stopping their squirming by force to let Hyperlaser do a light patch job before they were taken back to Crossroads for Medkit to fix.
"I'll get you back tomorrow, alright, kid?" Hyperlaser spoke quietly now, setting the first-aid kit on a table before gently patting Party on the head. "Get some rest, I got missions to do."
They'd... be safe there, even when Hyperlaser walked away and closed the door behind him, locking it for good measure. Princess would be there to help Party around like she did her owner, besides, Disco wasn't stupid enough to go into Hyperlaser's quarters...
