you know what. i need to reupdate everything, so heres the now MOSTLY OUTDATED, entire au lore.

King Dice: Dice is a russian price, born in france, and raised in england. his mother is russian, his father is french. he live with his parents and twin sister for about 13 years, before the Devil kidnapped him and killed his sister (she infact did not die, but he dosent know that :P ). he worked for the Devil for quite a few years before the casino was even a concept. he mainly had his gameshow before it was later taken over by Sweetea (more info later). he is not actually a king yet, but the Devil called him that because it sounded better. In the main au, he lives to be roughly 20/22 years old.

Devil/Lucshefar (later turned to Lucifer) little does he know, his "angelic" name means small and receptive.|| or, submissive and breedable|| he was a very small angel, even for a male. {female angels are larger, and most commonly considered the fighters}. in fact, hes the smallest. his closest friend was a sub-type of angel, called a Sygnull {meaning: segment. pronounced 'Signal'}.

{info on Sygnull: they are part of a larger whole angel. each has the power of one combined with the others. they tend to form brother/sister groups with one another, however there are sometimes romantic relations between the Sygnull. a Sygnull can only become a larger whole with another Sygnull, and once they have become part of a group, they tend to stick with the said group. if the group is three or more, they can become one without one of them, becoming a different Sygnull whole. note: the name Sygnull comes from the oldest language, older than even Enochian. only one mortal today can reliably translate to and from this language, and less than 10 people know it ever existed. not even angels (or other speakers of Enochian) know how to speak it, and most don't know it exists.}

Charhelz {pronounced Charles} Charhelz is a Sygnull fragment. he is part of a group which also contains the Sygnull fragments known as Mahtz {Max} and Hondrira {Andraya}. their group name is commonly refered to today as World Eater. Charhelz was Lucshefar's friend, and though not known to many, was actually the one who directly caused Lucshefar's fall. interestingly enough, Charhelz was reincarnated as the one who is most commonly known as Cuphead. infact, Cupheads birth name reflects this, being "Charhelz Animi". the nickname Cuphead was given due to being the only name he would respond to as a infant.

Vavohel. the oldest langauge, only fluently spoken by one. its odd, with many H's, Z's, and infuriating silent letters.

Lucifer (after fall) Lucifer after falling was cursed. he was given all of humanities wrongdoing, known as the seven sins. as a freshly deposited angel, the pure power was far too much to handle, causing pain for not only him, but every mortal he came across. each sin would flare up in him, causing him to go on rampeges, birthing the first generation of demons. after a few hundred years of this, he finally decided to break up the powers, each into its own seperate being. namely, the seven personified sins. due to being essentially part of the Devil, they consider eachother siblings, much to Lucifers disdain. Lucifer himself is not one of the sins, despite the fact one of the sins is named Lucifer.

Belphegor the sin of sloth. He is the largest sin by far, standing at an astounding 16ft 11inches. however, he is the biggest floofer boi. he always speaks in 3rd person, but in an oddly charming way. his voice is naturally soothing, like he's trying to lull you to sleep. which, in all likelyness, he is. his human personifcation is interestingly enough, named Charles. in his spare time, he takes care of demon orphans with Bee. we sure he's a sin? this dude is a sweetheart. he's also Cupheads father, though Cuphead (and Lucifer) does not know it. most likely for the best.

The Devil's Casino. the casino was made when Cuphead was about 10 {TCS era} and Dice was about 14. the casino bosses were either mortals who sold their services {tipsy troop, puiroletta cant spell her name and a few others} or demons that Lucifer gave mortal forms for the job in question {wheezy, chips}. the casino lasted a grand total of 7 years. at least, the one on Inkwell did. theres one not too far away, in New York, called the HeartGold. the HeartGold did… significantly better. ||mostly due to Cuphead not messing with it LMAO.||

HeartGold Casino owned by Lucifer, run and managed by Winella Animi, older sister of Cuphead. the events leading up to Winella running the HeartGold warrent their own story, but i can at least tell you the other staff members names (more than i can do for TDC) Winella {casino manager} Ruby {Winellas gf, and also barkeeper} The Canz twins, Kenzi and Kendrell {GameKeepers} Axel {no clue wtf he does, he's just there. mostly an asshole tho} more in reblog

headcanon which tooootally isn't related to the angel!mugman and demon!cuphead cc au i'm thinkin' up:

both demons AND angels are possessive bastards (bc [most] demons are themselves just fallen/former angels; but that's a Whole 'Nother Topic), but angels are, admittedly, the ones more inclined to true Envy and the like, ironically enough :3
