33. Stripping.

Luffy was happy, finally having found his ship! He still didn’t know where the rest of his crew were, but he was at the Sunny and she was save! After some time just rolling around the grass on the deck and some of the gardens (luckily not destroying any of them), he decided to go inside and change into cleaner clothes. His nakama and Ace would probably be very proud of him for making this decision all on his own and the thought made him smile.

Inside the boys quarters, he started to undress. First he put his hat and sash on one of the beds. Then he took of his vest, throwing it in a corner with the rest of the laundry. When he was starting to take out his pants, the door opened, revealing a very lost girl there. Luffy looked to her for a second before starting laughing of the expression she was making, not even noticing anything wrong with the situation.

"Hey! That’s a funny face!" he said, pointing at her “Ah, and what are you doing at my ship?” that was probably the first thing he should’ve been worried about, but he asked like it was a minor detail.

Practice Makes Perfect | Nicolette

Tsukishima sat on the bus on his way to Ouran. He had been planning to practice on his own in their gym. It was definitely a pain to go all that way to play volleyball, but it was nothing compared to the pain in his ass it would have been if Kageyama or Hinata had caught him in the Spica gym. After the bad attitude he'd exhibited at Karasuno, they probably would have never let him hear the end of his slight change of heart and the resulting independent practice he was planning to do.

Finally arriving at the school, Tsukishima wandered around a bit before finding the gym. He thanked his lucky stars upon discovering that it was completely deserted. After jogging a few laps and doing a few stretches to warm up, he began practicing his serves, the sound of his hand smacking the ball echoing loudly throughout the gym.

Which Way is North? [Luffy and Nicolette]

Luffy was disappointed. He had come to this huge and strange city to have adventures! But, so far, he haven't had any yet! And now he was alone. No, not alone. He did meet some people around. He just didn't know where the crew was and didn't have anyone to go in an adventure with him. So it'd be boring to go in a big adventure. That's why he decided to go in a small adventure to find someone to go in a big adventure with him!

Now he just needed to get to the harbour and look for his ship there. She'd probably be there. There were no Marines (that he'd seen) in Bunkyo so no need to hide the Sunny – not that they usually cared to hide her anyway. The only problem was that Luffy had no idea whatsoever of where the harbour was. So he decided he just had to go to where felt more humid, because near the ocean it had to feel more humid, right?

In the end, the went to the completely opposite direction.

"This is weird..."

He then decided to ask to someone for directions, because that's what his nakama'd told him and Zoro to do when they got lost. It was easy to find someone that knew how to get to the harbour, and he just needed to take a bus. Since Luffy had no idea how to take a bus or even had any money to do so, he decided he could just keep walking in the same direction past the bus stop and he would get to his ship eventually. Obviously, he only got more lost.

He was about to go to Plan C and jump to the top of one of the buildings to look from up there – because he would certainly be able to see the whole city from all the way up there (for what other reason they'd be so tall?) – when he bumped into someone. "Shishishi, sorry sorry" the pirate laughed, not looking very sorry at all. "Hey, do you know where I can find my crew?"

— 〆 for a childhood story

When Luffy was younger he, sometimes, threw up a tantrum about how he wasn’t just a child, but a real man and wanted to be treated like one, and then went to do something stupid (like stabbing himself on the face). It was an especially big problem after he got his powers and started to live in Mt. Colubo with the Dandan Family.

Since Devil Fruits are extremely rare on the Blues, particularly on the East Blue, he always caught a lot of attention of some people from the Gray Terminal that thought they could make some money with him or of nobles wanting an exotic pet. He ended up learning the hard way not to walk around the city alone, but it didn’t really do him any good since most of the creatures in the forest saw him as a delicious snack and he wasn’t really able to defend himself alone.

In the end, Luffy always had to be saved by his brothers or even their grandpa and he’d be crying or laughing so much when they got there, he’d forgotten why he decided to run away in the first place.

Chaotic Cooking Class | Nicolette & Haruka

Home Economics. Although it was such an ordinary and basic part of pretty much any level of education, for a person who had spent half of his high school years in a special class and the other half in a hospital Haruka could not remember the last time he had a lesson like this. Maybe during the very beginning of high school before they had decided that his condition would make it impossible for him to stay in a regular class? Even though it should be something so mundane it felt strange in an exiting way to the boy; and some would probably argue that a lesson like this would do wonders for a boy with such unhealthy eating habits as this one possessed, but the likelihood of Haruka actually taking them to heart was only slightly above zero.

On the other hand, the atmosphere in this classroom was quite a bit different from how he remembered it back then: other than the people who lived in dorms like Haruka himself did, a lot of the students here actually had a great deal of use for the knowledge they could be granted during these few hours as it would be applicable to their own daily lives, and it evidently carried a whole other feeling than just '15 year old kids playing around with cooking equipment'. That was right - he was an adult now, wasn't he? The him from two years ago would never even have thought that was possible, and yet here he was. At least for now.

There was however one part of home economics that he was far more interested in than all of the tedious theoretical stuff - and that was actually putting all off that theoretic knowledge in to practical use. The cooking! A brief introduction later he was paired up with another student, a girl who appeared to be around the same age as him, although that could probably automatically be assumed to apply to every young person who was currently in the room. She had an appearance that instantly would have made anyone think of her as 'a dubious character' no matter how you looked at her.

"Let's do our best together, okay?" Well, anyone but Kokonose Haruka at least. He did not for a moment pause to stare at neither the scarring in her face nor the one eye that was evidently different from the other, presumably a result of aforementioned scarring. Instead he met her with just as friendly a smile as he would have given to anyone else. "I'm Haruka. Glad to be working together with you!"
