i know! like i feel bad in general for posting a metric shit ton of civil war stuff but like... we live in a world where x kit has quick tags where you can literally in put ove ra dozen spoiler tags and just click on a button instead of typing them out each time... it's so easy to just NOT spoil stuff, even if you want to post it

ARE U WATCHING AGAIN? Is it worth catching up with 4 seasons for?

I'm not watching it properly, I'm just watching the occasional episodes that my friends who are still watching flag as Ones I Should Watch For Wincest Reasons. So I've seen about four from this season. And the ones I have seen are, for my purposes, INCREDIBLE, but as episodes themselves usually quite poor, which tbh SPN always has been fairly crap in terms of writing and dialogue and pacing and plot and some of the acting, I was just less aware of it when fully invested in the show. So it's worth picking and choosing eps for the EPIC emotional validation of shipping Sam and Dean, but as a show, eh. I DO plan at some point to do a proper catch up from seasons 8-11, but god knows when/if I will.

Jord/Nikandros - breakfast

The table is full, and across him Damen is, and there’s no other word for it, eating out of the palm of Laurent’s hand. Nikandros wonders if it’s too early for some wine. The unification of the kingdoms is slow going and it means the now King of Vere spends a lot more time in his home country. Nikandros would be grateful that the blond snake is back if only because Damen stops moping, but then again considering the scene in front of him everything with Laurent it’s a double edged sword. 

An obscene sound comes from the head of the table and Nikandros rolls his eyes heavenward. Halfway through this, he locks gazes with Jord, who looks just as frustrated with this whole thing as he is. 

Inwardly praying for patience, Nikandros reaches for the light honeyed wine they serve in summer, pours himself a generous helping, lifts his goblet and tips it back in one swig, throwing a look at their kings. Jord shakes his head, almost a recoil, but then chuckles and offers his own cup. Nikandros winks and maybe it’s not that bad that the company from Vere is back, he thinks, watching Jord’s throat work as he swallows.

do I like them: yes, the little shit worm his way into my affections. i understand damen so much better

head canon: during book 2 he was really glad damen could sleep like the dead bc his lust sometimes would win and he’d bite his wrist to cover his sound. after the initial stabilising of their respective kingdom he takes his sweet time returning to vere. he’ll never say it out load but he prefers the palace at iso.
