The Rose - Baby

[C] I thought this was going to be another single but I was pleasantly surprised when I went onto iTunes and seen it’s a mini album. Recently I decided to google The Rose just because I was curious and discovered they were an indie band before they joined J&Star. Jaehyeong and Hajoon were always busking then Dojoon joined them and that’s when they started their indie band called Windfall and then they met Woosung who joined them and now here they are. I am in love with this song Woosungs voice just makes their songs 10x better than they already are I don’t think I’ll ever be over his voice.

[M] The Rose is a group that is really going to have to work hard to top their debut track because Sorry is an absolutely amazing track, but even just from listening to the first few lines of this song, I feel that Baby might have the potential to rival Sorry. The main vocalist for The Rose has a great voice and honestly I think it his sound that creeps in my soul and just plays with my emotions, he has the perfect emotional ballad voice if I have ever heard one. I really love the verses and bridges on this track but the chorus doesn’t wow (not to say it isn’t good) and will probably be one of those songs that grows on me and becomes one of my main jams. I love everything The Rose has released so far and I will for certain be checking out the rest of this album.

[S] I love the back story C posted about The Rose I really respect groups that work hard and show such determination to get where they are and honestly The Rose deserves to have a company backing and promoting them because they are so so so so so talented. 

I really need to need to learn who is who in this band because the singer absolutely destroys me with his soulful voice. The fact that this is a Mini is also super exciting for me because I can really not get enough of these guys. Honestly Baby has probably become my new favorite track from them Sorry was amazing! the one after was forgettable but THIS!! I am nothing now! Once I go download this mini I promise it will be on repeat for the rest of the day!
