@flippityflcp | LOL ITS TIME.
NOT THIS, NOT HER.
Antonia hadn’t been to grief group in so long, not since Seattle. But she had a lot of grief to overcome and she’d learned to stop pushing it down because pushing it down just made her drink. So, after a terribly long day, the raven haired woman had asked the neighbor to watch Violet and headed out to the first group she could find. When she’d walked into the sketchy community centre basement, she didn’t even pay attention to anyone else, only walking toward the coffee area and grabbing a bottle of water.
Keeping to herself until it was time to take a seat, Toni stared at her lap with her fingers picking at something on her jeans. Gross, what the hell was it? Only shaking for her thoughts when the man at the head of the group started talking, she lifted her gaze, her stomach twisting when he suggested anyone new in the circle introduce themselves. Fuck sake, she hated this part but oh well. One or two people went before her and then Antonia stood up. “Hey, I’m Antonia..” she muttered nervously, her eyes wander the room. “No one really calls me that though except for..” and it was then her eyes landed on Eden. Holy fuck, what the hell? Did Sidney die? “Except for uh, her,” a finger lifted to point at her ex and then she quickly tore her eyes away.
“Anyway, my fiance died and.. my therapist at rehab recommended these instead of drinking so I’m here,” shuffling to sit down again, her head turned to look at Eden, a curious brow raising in her direction.
