Actually now that I think about it: it doesn’t make any difference in character meta because knowing Keith didn’t want to die (we saw that: he was terrified in the show) but was doing it for the greater good lines up with what we know of him anyways. It doesn’t tell us anything new. The split between Keith’s attempted sacrifice isn’t necessarily the difference between it was suicidally driven or not. It was the factors that lead him to try it in the first place. He doesn’t have to be suicidal to think that his friends wouldn’t care about it (his abandonment issues and unstable view of his personal relationships are not mutually exclusive to being suicidal). He also doesn’t have to be suicidal to be influence badly by the BoM (kind of a generalization, but I say it cause majority of the self sacrifice characters we’ve seen were BoM members). This is where people have been arguing about for the most part; Keith is a multifaceted character, and just because his main motivation was for the Greater Good doesn’t mean there aren’t other factors influencing him as well.

Also I’m going to stand by my opinion that self-sacrifice isn’t necessarily a positive difference between it being a suicide attempt. Both would lead to loss of life, which would negatively affect those around him along with take away any potential future for him.

how long (months/years?): Sleipnir is my first rp blog I had and I have been on this blog for now...5 years? Damn. That’s a long ass time haha. I have other blogs, Sleipnir dad - Svadilifari. Hel but I rarely use her and a multimuse blog that’s more strictly around Supernatural but I love them all. how’d you start: I started out writing very cringy fanfiction and i made an oc that turned out to be dun dun dunnnn it was Sleipnir all along, faceclaim-less and very much a mary sue. But I knew someone on my personal tumblr blog who roleplayed and i made up Sleipnir as a blog and dipped my toe all around till I found some real decent people and stuff.  platforms you’ve used: Tumblr, Skype and IM on Tumblr worst experience: Someone befriended me, told me they were going to kill themselves and then told me they loved me. I was trapped in to a relationship, and while i don’t really regret it because I got over it and I’m pretty emotionless now. But the point is a lot of people on this website are toxic and you should cut them out of your life instead of thinking you can change them or ‘fix’ them. Cus the likely hood is they are just looking for attention, and do not genuinely care about you. Because people understand you have a family, and a job, and things outside of them and you. There is so much more to life and it’s beautiful to get over things and develop. best experience: Meeting so many nice and amazing people.
