WHO: Beau Wilkinson and Florence Constable WHEN: January 4th, 1978. 12PM WHERE: Hogsmeade Village, Ceridwen’s Cauldron, the back room, largest cauldron
Somehow, he’d gotten separated from Liliane. In all honesty, he wasn’t sure how it had happened. One second, they were strolling through the village, their hands interlocked and the next, they were being shouldered apart, moved by a stampede of scared students to different ends of the village.
Beau had no clue what was going on around him. The most danger he’d ever been in before now was the time he’d gotten chased through his family’s land by two different hogs. What he wouldn’t give to be in that situation again. Unfortunately, no matter how much he wanted things to be different, there wasn’t anything he could do to change his situations. He was here in England, in a situation that could very well be life or death. Where was his mother? His father? With a jolt, his heart stopped. Where was Savannah? He whirled around in a panic, but he couldn’t find any of them. He thought about taking off in search of them, but he knew that wouldn’t be what they wanted. They would want him to get somewhere safe, so that is what he would do.
Ceridwen’s Cauldrons. He’d never been in there before, but it seemed as good as any for a place to hide. Strange enough, it was empty. Good. It meant less people to find him. He rushed through the store, and burst into the backroom. There, standing right before him, was the perfect hiding spot. It was the industrial sized cauldron, the kind meant for brewing gallons and gallons of a Potion. Very quickly, he lifted the top, and them climbed inside. It was roomy, and he had space to stretch his legs somewhat. He sighed in relief, and closed his eyes. He began to pray to whatever God was out there that his sister was alright, that his parents were alright... that Liliane, was alright.
