Learn about phosphoric acid production and the role of flotation agents, flocculants, and filtration aids. NAQ Global provides solutions for
Phosphoric acid is produced via a variety of techniques. Dihydrate phosphoric acid (P₂O₅) or semi-hydrate phosphoric acid (P₂O₅) are often concentrated to an appropriate level for future usage using several steps of evaporative processes and combinations thereof, the majority of which are well known by those knowledgeable in the art. During such evaporation procedures, the resultant phosphoric acid is further concentrated to varied acid strengths ranging from 40-42% to 72-76% acid (on a P₂O₅% base).
