A couple of close ups for my most recent piece, "A Quiet Place to Read". So many of my pieces start out as just ideas in my head. Sometimes I make sketches (I have a pretty extensive sketch book collection at this point), but often I just decide how I want the pieces to look as I'm working on the final piece. This one is one which I made decisions as I went. Time: 10 hours over 7 days or so. Materials: - Sakura 127 .07 pencil - Canson 98lb mixed media paper. - Strathmore tracing paper - sakura pigma micron pen (.005) - Staedtler fineliner pens (.7, .3, .1) - Sharpie Gold Marker - ruler
