Unexpected Guest
You visit one of your favourite trees that you've been cultivating. Only to find someone else approves of the roosting spot. New friend?
I've decided the dragons might bring rocks to expand the floating islands, letting the trees get bigger. They can also collide with others naturally, by drifting or by storms.
A little A5 pen drawing with watercolour pencil and white ger pen parkers.
I'm procrastinating a larger piece (a gift hence over thinking), and I feel if I'm not working on it, then why am I wasting time by doing a little drawing and so nothing gets done. Yet felt a new piece was needed due to @wanderer-on-the-steppe reblogging a bunch of my little dragon drawings with the sweetest tags.
I got a new painting table situation! Thank goodness I dont have to worry about always keeping my desk clear, it's really stressful and not productive. Now I have a space in the living room!
I was working on something else, but this was an impromptu mess around with these weird Faber castell pigment sticks called gelatos. I worked over them in watercolours. I wouldn't get them again I dont think, they're fine, provide an interesting base layer, but nothing exceptional.
Floating tree.
Pixel art Day 4 - floating tree (Lapiuta?) "Jack! I'm flying......... To this floating island!!!"
