"The Mouth of Krishna" (2016) ✦ Albarrán Cabrera — pigments, gampi paper and gold leaf
Amethyst Unicorn
Luminous Unicorn + Spare parts
I felt the need to use pigments on a Luminous Unicorn Gundam; wound up realizing that it’s difficult to photograph its metallic purple finish.
It’s bigger arm is from that HG Gil Bow kit, to which I cut out a longer ‘blade’ for it from a sheet of clear plastic and glued on some “fish rocks” for the added crystals. I’d like to imagine this was some sort of prototype Unicorn variant, with the sole intent of trying to further weaponize the psychoframe that was deliberately crystallized; so maybe it’s reality warping capabilities let it create a giant blade for itself, or something like that.
