Dakota, Indi, and Hannah P rotated positions in defensive positions. Hannah P had some excellent intercepts, reading the ball well. Dakota worked hard to slow down her player, and she defended her shooter with a beautiful stretch and rebounded nicely. Indi played in WD, but had a quarter as GD. Whilst Indi was at a disadvantage in height compared to the opposition, Indi continued to chase with intensity and put pressure on the GA, which led to mistakes being made by the opposition. Hannah O and Lileah worked the shooting circle, making a great combination. Lileah showed tenacity against the opposition, often fighting for the ball with ferocity. Hannah put the pressure on the GD and opened up the passing opportunities for her team mates. Josie ran her game as centre, acquiring a number of intercepts and fed the ball beautifully down the court. But it’s Eva who shon today, with her exceptional improvement in passing, catching and making space in WA. Additionally, on several occasions, Eva looked in to the shooters and delivered the pass often with perfect timing and placement under the post. Eva was awarded and was highly deserving of the “Player of the Week”voucher- thanks to @thegatheringcafebungendore We are grateful for their support to our team.
