The Full Story of the Ghosties

Alrighty. Here's the full, slightly lengthy story bulletpoint plot of the ghost comic if I had managed to finish it the way I wanted to;

• Patton and Logan would conspire on the fact Patton had been killed by Remy, and eventually after pieces and pieces of evident showed up, Logan would figure out HE died from Remy. The reason being that he found out about Remy beating Patton, and due to fear of being caught, asked Dennis to fake a car accident and kill Logan. That explains why Logan died, but well... it seems Dennis accidentally died in it too.

• Then Roman would hear about Deceit (Dennis) being Remy's secret boyfriend and reflect on if the Dennis HE knew had been the same one.

• Roman would come to Virgil asking if he remembered who killed him, but Virgil would just know the ins and outs of how he died, not when or how.

• Then Roman would remember POWERS OMG and he would make the image version of Dennis to see if it's a match between the two Dennis's. Patton kinda has a panic attack since they are, in fact, the same.

• Logan is then reminded of his power of the whole 'can see for a minute on the going's on on earth.' So, he decides to see what Remy is up to. And won't ya know it, he's talking with the Dennis man thru some weird portal thing.

• Logan comes back to the white space (?) to recount what he found, saying that they had some sort of connection.

• Now Logan is realizing that at least three of them had been killed by either Remy or Dennis.

• Next Logan asks Virgil if the person who killed him was Dennis or Remy, but he doesn't really know. They result in asking where Virgil had died, and the only clue he knew was that he was on a sidewalk and he pushed himself in front of someone.

• Well that doesn't help.

• So then he's asked about the knife that stabbed him. And Virgil talks about the handle having some sort of engraving. So Roman tries to recreate it, and...

• Sudden lightbulb moment!

• Roman explains that he'd seen Dennis with that knife before, saying it was a family heirloom. That was probably a lie.

• So now we've figured out it was Dennis who killed Virgil and Roman, and Remy who killed Patton and Logan. Both sort of tag teaming.

• But why did Dennis kill Virgil? 'Tis the question.

• That's when... well, this voice, out of nowhere, says "Well, they've figured it out."

• It is not reminiscent of Dennis or Remy's voice. It echos and has this... ethereal sort of bounce to it.

• Suddenly a human-ish figure appears. Then another. One basically radiating pink light and the other an unholy, ugly pickle green. One had their hands clasped together while the other held a morning star against their shoulder. The pink one looked to be practically human, if not for the strange eyes and translucency. And the green one? Pointed devil ears, a nasty mustache, goat eyes, fangs, and talons. His legs were goat legs, but somehow slippery(?)

• Yeah, everyone basically freaks.

• The pink one calms everyone down and claims to be fricken GOD. The other claims to be Satan, or the Devil, or Lucifer, he doesn't really care.

• (cough cough if you haven't already guessed, Thomas is God and Remus is Satan cough cough)

• They explain that they made this purgatory for the four of them due to having incidents with the same two people. Their souls were tangeble, and strong, but without a body, as for between astral planes the physical body cannot exist.

• So they're not REALLY ghosts, but souls.

• They also explain why they didn't go to heaven or hell; because Remus made a goddamn bet.

• He said that he made a deal with Remy to make it so Rem would go to heaven no matter the crime IF he never got caught (jailed, or discovered by someone of pure heart like an angel or rare human) and lived until his death of age.

• Because these four would immediately know what had happened to them after death in heaven or hell, they had to be put in between to make sure they didn't remember or intervened.

• But now that they all remember, the bet is null and void for Remy and once he dies he'll surely be put to hell for his crimes.

• Dennis is in fact, in hell, and his punishment was to watch Remy for every second of every day. He could not sleep, could not look away, and could not even blink. Every second he looks away provides punishment. This is symbolic of the fact that Dennis had cheated on Roman and Remy had cheated on Patton, thus Dennis having to literally commit to his crimes.

• Yeah, not fun.

• The times Dennis had appeared? It wasn't ACTUALLY Dennis. It was his soul, since that had been taken away once he died in hell. The soul had found it's way to the purgatory made for the four and had decided to absolutely toy with them. It was why it didn't exactly show up unless you were looking for it, since it didn't belong.

• Yeah, so basically now the four can go up to heaven since there's no reason to keep them all here and they all live happily together with their lil wings, and the Logicality shit FINALLY happens.

• The boys also are back to looking human, if not for the wings and halos.
