late reply but the art was done in flash, where you have 'lines' and 'fills'. The brush tool there just lays down a fill, so you can go over a stroke multiple times and also use the eraser to carve it. Each colour of fill and line can be picked up separately, so you can use dif colours to help keep lines from messing each other up.

oh my gosh, that makes a lot of sense- i don’t know why i just assumed it was illustrator? thank you!! maybe i’ll try to do it in flash next time, i think i have some archaic version of that somewhere

Thank yOU!! Lines are one of my favorite parts I think. I really think I’ve improved my line quality after I started using Clip Studio, it’s a lot friendlier with my fast gestures and the brushes are so clean!!

Mmhmm! I've got a pretty big collection, although only a handful are English. Everything else is written in Japanese - I got them while in Japan each time. <3

I am about to stab things or maybe people because I'm at my wits' end with arranging things. Enough for tonight, I think.
