floops!! what about claude and robin? i have been having thoughts over them vghgf
"No kidding! You really just woke up in a field, no memory or anything, and you were just? Allowed to join the Shepherds?" Claude's surprise was apparent in just his tone, though Robin could tell there was something lingering just underneath. Not quite bitterness, not quite sorrow...something in between.
"I did have to prove myself, sure,” Robin began, keeping their tone neutral. “But once I showed I didn’t mean any harm, I’ve been treated as one of the Shepherds ever since. I wouldn’t change it for the world.”
“And they didn’t...look at you oddly? Treat you differently? Just because you were from a different nation?” Robin tried not to think too hard about the implications behind that question.
“Sure, there were some that would always be suspicious of me,” a certain Great Knight in particular, “but in the end, they weren’t the ones that mattered. I’m not going to hide who I am or where I’m from just because someone doesn’t like who I am.”
“But isn’t that dangerous?”
“Of course it is. And I’m not saying it’s our responsibility to make those people see why they’re wrong. But what we can do is find those that accept us, and with their help, try to make the world better for everyone involved. Somewhere we don’t have to hide the parts of ourselves or our heritages that people deem unsavory.” Robin paused, looking over to Claude. He had gone silent, with a thoughtful look on his face, before a cheeky grin appeared.
“I didn’t take you to be someone so idealistic,” Claude said, a hint of relief to his tone. “But I’d like to see it someday.”
Robin smiled. “Knowing you? I’m sure you’ll find a way.”
