Floorbot

An alert enters the network, every floorbot buzzing with excitement. A cleanbot has finished mopping a section! Now it is their duty to watch over the spot and alert humans to the danger. Rapid responses ping through at the alert. Some floorbots are already on duty protecting against danger. Others are too far. Floorbot beeps acceptance as its location is closest. Proudly it rolls out of the closet and down through the hall. It navigates through the maze of busy humans until it reaches the cleanbot. Another floorbot has arrived at the same time. 

 The cleanbot chimes awareness of their arrival and accepts the passing of duty moving on to clean another area. The floorbots ping each other and rapidly discuss the best method of standing alert to maximize human awareness. Decision reached they roll to opposite points of the wet floor and straighten proudly. They are on duty. They protect. Danger, wet floor.
