#floor doily

My weekend wip: a floor doily for my sis. The pattern (which calls for bedspread weight thread and gauges 8") is available at Raverly. I used two strands dishcloth weight which boosted the diameter to 21". The last row was modified to remove the picots. This way I can get the diameter closer to 24" and - because it’s a floor mat - make final round edged with singles.

another floor doily because i missed crocheting pineapples and scrap yarn i need to finish. First photo is blurry as much as my brain now @_@ but still i love to see how small my shoes looks on it like alice in wonderland: a pretty big doily and small shoes ehhh..

pattern used <
