btw I’ve found these stretches from the WAK blog very helpful when knitting a lot:

Plus make sure to take breaks regularly - and stop if anything starts to hurt!

especially with gift knitting I know it can be tempting to push through it for a deadline, but it’s really not worth causing long term injury. (And anyone knit-worthy should be understanding of that, imho.) Stay well :)

With the Namaste movement, because I climb as well, I like to rotate my hands away from my body, so the steepled fingers are pointing outwards, rotate as far as I can until I feel a gentle stretch down the insides of my forearms. Give it a try!

Lol I wanna revive crochet tumblr.

So everyone on this side of tumblr post what you’re currently working on. How many times you’ve frogged it (had to take it down and re-do it for those who aren’t familiar with the term.) and if you haven’t yet, post how many times you’ve lost count of your stitches or what row you were on.

I’ll go first.

I’m working on an apple plushie and I’ve lost count at least 10 times and frogged it 30 times BECAUSE ROUND 8 IS MY WORST NIGHTMARE

Last thing I worked on was from a few months ago. I'm currently edging a wing shawl in a lighter gold color and will hopefully have time to work on it again someday.

Crochet advice - when choosing yarn, look at the weight in grams per ball as well as the metres per ball. I used the best part of 4400m of wool to make a dressing gown & it weighs well over 2kg. Doubles as a weighted blanket.
