100% Wearable Art, Whimsical & Fierce: Dragon Wing Crossbody Bag Crochet Pattern Designed By Jen Knight: 👉 https://knithacker.com/2025/05/whimsical-fierce-dragon-wing-crossbody-bag-crochet-pattern-designed-by-jen-knight/ 🐲
I tried to knit my first color work swatch with two yarns and my thoughts are: 1. I can't count the stitches and rows, 2. My hand can't hold two yarns together to make it more comfortable to work...
tried again and I’m happy now!
pst Op, if you can crochet a bit, then Sweet Softies can tell you how to turn your swatch into a (christmas) chickie

Pattern: Feather Wings Shawl by Megan Lapp, Crafty Intentions (paid pattern)
(Could have swore I posted this video here but i couldnt find it-)
Its like a 37 minute video of me struggling to make these wings (posted originallyon June 10, 2021).
(Not in the video) Hard to believe I then proceeded to torture myself and make two more wings (a Grian Wing and one for my friend)
Pattern used is Crafty Intentions' "Feather Wings Shawl"

Crochet becomes fun once you let go of the rules. by Technical_Dentist885
Ahhh, I'm covered with bugs and Kitty isn't helping!! Bug spray or a nit comb, what do I do, WHAT DO I DO??
As I promised @fromsiberia, some step by step pics from attaching hair to me next doll
This is before and after of steaming the hair. Depending on your yarn, hook size, and tension you might not need this, but I'm making Huan Cheng and not little orphan Annie!
I started with a pin in the center of the hair base and place it in the top center of the head, then make sure it's all facing the right way.
Stitch the hair base down around the edges. You don't have to go every stitch. Do a couple stitches in the middle, too.
His hair was in two layers, so I put the second one up in a rubber band and pinned the first one in place. I use one stitch per pin to hold the hair down, I like it to be a little flappy.
For bits like bangs, you might want to sew them a little differently. I sewed closer to the tips to tame them a bit, since they didn't have the full weight of a long strand holding them down.
Don't mind the bald spots, they'll be covered by the second layer.
You can sew one level of pins around, or one strand at a time. Doesn't matter.
Second layer of hair pinned down. See? I told you the bald spots would be covered!
I added one more layer of six strands to bulk up his hair a little, and he's done!
I hope that helps for your future endeavors!
some of you seem to be under the unfortunate impression that i enjoy finishing things. i enjoy making things
Jester beanie! 🤡
This one was very fun. I modified the pattern slightly for the colors and also tapered the ears down to a finer point.
This is a crochet pattern for jester/clown hats. Not a physical item! Please ensure you have the correct email attached to insure you receiv

I made a little whale friend as part of a birthday present ^_^
Patttern: Whale low sew by Karina Nunez (free Ravelry pattern)
Yarn: Schachenmayr Catania scraps
Started and Finished: Today in about 2.5 hours
Sunflower Coasters in a basket
They're finished! 5 Sunflower coasters and one basket to hold them
And if you put them all into the basket, voilà! One big flower!
I love it! And I hope the folks I will gift this to, will too!
Yarn: Schachenmayr Catania (RIP 😢) in colourways 106 (White), 157 (Marone), 162 (Kaffee), 418 (Greenery).
Hook: 3.5 mm
Pattern: Sunflower Coasters in Basket by Papari Sharma though for the basket I learned a new stitch following the Starlight Basket pattern by Toni Lipsey.
Modifications:
4 increase rounds for the sunflower bases
For the petals: 5 sc between them (starting the first petal round with 1 ch, 2sc). Then in the second petal round, into the ch4 loop: 5dc, 1 tr, 1 picot, 1 tr, 5dc, sk 2, sl st in third st; rinse and repeat.
Basket with dc base as per pattern, but 4 inc rounds. I would prefer a more sturdier base in hindsight, so maybe hdc or sc would've been better.
For the basket sides I followed the above mentioned pattern, i.e. alternating waistcoat stitch and BLOsc. The waistcoat stitch is somewhat fiddly as you finagle the hook between the two "legs" of the stitches from the previous round. But it's very much worth it! It's sturdy and it looks really nice! Perfectly basketly!
For the basket leaves: same starting round as with the sunflower petals. Then in the second round: 4 dc, 1 tr, ch 1, 1 tr, 4 dc, sk 2, sl st in third stitch; repeat.
