He lived for 3 years prior to being surrendered to the shelter with painful mange. He was starving to DEATH, due to an obstruction in his intestines. I’m going to be real with you, Rugby almost died. Thank the stars above, the universe had a bigger plan for him. Rugby is 4 years old and an American Bulldog/pit mix. He is friendly towards dogs. Rugby needs confidence building. He’s an insecure dog and doesn’t know who he can trust. Once he gains that trust he’s a mush! Life in a cage is taking a toll on him. Even though he had a home for three years, they treated him like used paper towels. Shouldn’t he know what a real, caring and compassionate family is like?
