I'm sure the text of #telemachus can fit on a #floppydisk but how many books are left sitting on #floppydisks waiting to be finished when someone finds a #floppydiskdrive The days of writers carrying manuscripts in boxes is probably over but just think of the trouble in publishing a book in the past when the wind could easily scatter your box of notes. I imagine travellers like #hemingway who couldn't easily fax or email their notes from the front lines and wonder how many drafts were lost, i've heard stories from #presidenthiggins about telephoning in copy for @hotpressmagazine when it was the only way to tell the story, and I remember seeing secretaries taking dictation over the phone for a newspaper. Pastel Fractal performs wonders🐚 with the use of the Pastel Fractal Mobile Performance Apparatus – a towering network of recommissioned #MIDI machines (with #floppydiskdrive) that is transported by #bicycle. This apparatus sequences mission statement data that has been reformatted to karaoke files (in “M.I.D.I. + Lyrics” format) which are stored on floppy disks for recalling and remixing during #live performances.
