     Such a sunny day, a perfect day to give flower samples out front--if it was anyone other than Chihiro. However, his grandpa had tasked him with that, so he had no choice, really. He felt lucky though, there weren’t many people out today.

     “Oh--Miss!”

     He called out to a girl nearby, waving his hand in the air to catch her attention, then grabbed a flower from one of the vases keeping them sustained. He approached her, holding it out to her. “The flower shop is giving out free samples today, I thought that this Amaryllis would look just gorgeous tucked behind your ear.”

“ o-oh! forgive me, it’s just that i’ve never met another fairy before. “    well, except for her own mom, of course. but other than that, she’s never met others of her own kind. it often made her wonder if she was the only one around, or if perhaps they were all hiding. maybe in plain sight, like melody? that she stands before another now, she only finds more questions swimming around her mind, her abundance of curiosity welling up inside her. melody wrings her hands and shifts her weight from one foot to the other. after a moment, she just can’t help herself.    “ please, i have so many questions to ask! there’s so much i want to know about you, about us! “

     Nervous. Anxious--there were plenty of words to describe how he was feeling right now. Holding a piece of paper carefully with both hands, crumpled and creased, attempts to straighten each edge again, regret--

     ...He had to tell her. He wanted to let her know how he was doing. He wanted her to know he was doing better, even if she wouldn’t accept him. He waited at the spot he’d told her to meet him. Hopefully she saw the message. Hopefully she would come. His hands were trembling and occasionally he’d have to stop and take a slow breath to calm himself.

     Even if she didn’t come today...He could at least take solace in the fact he tried...

“C’mon, you can do this senpai!!! Just 300 more pushups to go.” Inasa exclaimed with his hands on his hips. Judging by the gym clothes, it was obvious that the young man was offduty today, deciding to just work out his body out alongside a colleague. 

“After that, all that we have to do are 300 sit-ups and a sparring match, after that we can go eat some soba!” Inasa have always enjoyed doing exercise ever since he was a kid. Since you can’t just be a pro hero all the time, the boy had to find a way to burn his energy, so when he’s not at school or working as a Pro Hero, he’s either doing Haka or working out.
