I don’t think this pattern is as strong as the previous two but I wanted to upload it anyway so I could see my progress and point out any mistakes i’ve made along the way.
I wanted to involve a rust colour in my palette however I don’t think the tones on the roses show enough highlights or shadows.
I also don’t really like the composition much as I think its quite easy to make out the square of the repeat. Naturally I am inclined to make the spacing between each item as similar as possible to make the pattern balanced. However I think it would be good to start experimenting with different spacing.
