#FloralFundays: Spent my Easter Sunday with a wonderful group of people who came together when I made a request on Facebook earlier this week after getting really excited about an Upworthy video I watched about @repeatroses. (The power of social media!) Thank you for taking the time out of your Sunday and long weekend to be part of the inaugural #floralfundays session and for putting so much love into the whole process. Together, we took beautiful donations of wedding flowers that would have been thrown away and gave them new life. We made over 100+ arrangements (thank you @awhiffoftea and @lingergram for your floral expertise) and delivered them to Lee Ah Mooi Home for the Aged and surprised the staff and residents there. I think the staff were even more surprised than the residents when they got to choose their bouquets! Hopefully this will be first of many #floralfundays to come. If you know any couples who'd like to donate their flowers after their wedding, florists/event planners who'd like to be part of this initiative, and most importantly, come help out with making arrangements and delivering flowers in the future, please let me know! PM me or drop an email to [email protected] - whatever works. With so many weddings and events taking place all the time in Singapore, it would be amazing to give all those flowers a second chance to make someone's day ☺👰🏻️🌷❤️ #thehiddengood #thehiddenflowers #IMVISIBLEsg (at Lee Ah Mooi Old Age Home 李亞妹安老院)
