I’m bringing back #madagascarmonday ☺️on our way back to Fort Dauphin from the spiny forests, we got a flat tire! Luckily, there was some interesting flora to marvel at! This is Nepenthes madagascariensis! This pitcher plant grows along swamps and peaty, sandy soils along the east coast of the island, feeding on insects that fall into its cup. Members of this species are endemic and are only found in Madagascar.
