It’s a bit of a struggle finding a new diner to frequent. There was just... there was a big mess of reasons to Baby going to his diner back in Atlanta so often. But he’d feel lost without having one to go to in Stella City. He’s stuck here, so he might as well make the most of it, right?
He looks up at the server that walks over to him after he’s been looking at the menu for a good hour or so.

needless to say, he spends a good minute or two finally getting what percy means.

when he sees someone he’s met before, the confidence is less... feigned. it comes to reynard a bit easier when he looks up after counting all of the pieces he has for sale. sure, he’s boasting about his brittle the most, but that isn’t to say there aren’t any other options.
toffee, caramel apples, fudge, truffles, reynard is very excited about the variety of different sweets he has to sell today. he’s sure percy will be pretty excited to try something too!
“hello! interested in any sugar today? there’s a pretty unique spark to all of these treats i’m sure you won’t find anywhere else!”
but he might as well just talk to him like another customer. reynard isn’t sure if percy has someone he doesn’t want knowing he’s here, or maybe he just doesn’t want everyone to know his name. it just wouldn’t be right, right?
