#felicity as a new religion

These three photos sum up the tectonic shifts in American politics that has been brought to us by the US presidential election. The top picture shows the Minnesota State Fair Booth for the libertarian party, which is typically aligned with far-right Republicans. Instead, their message is mixed with the marijuana legalization and 'Wage Peace' signs. The second two pictures are artworks made entirely out of corn. The first depicts Donald Trump as Chicken Little. The second shows Khizr Khan holding up a pocket Constitution and adopting the Obama slogan of 'Yes We Can'. Liberals have finally taken back the mantle of patriotism from the conservatives. It's a great election cycle and, if nothing else, has exposed the ideological lines as nothing more than made up ideas of self identification. I expect the world to continue to be re-ordered as we move deeper into the age of information and peoples beliefs continue to be challenged by facts.
