Hey, just FYI, I saw one of your posts put into a buzzfeed article that published a couple of days ago. It’s about how to write women’s bodies, but I was pretty sure they didn’t ask you before the put it up and just wanted to let you know. :)

So, I am rereading your Run Verse fics basically from the beginning again, but I wanted to let you know how much they have meant to me. When I am feeling particularly numb I have a few fics that i like to go read because they can make me feel. They make me laugh or cry or just feel in general. The run verse and bid time return especially are part of that. I don’t know that I could ever thank you enough for writing them. Your stories make me feel when I don’t think I am able to.

I’m really sorry to hear that you’re struggling with that emotional numbness. I’m glad, though, very glad, that something I’ve done has helped you feel. 

Reading and writing for me can be a catharsis. I’m personally pretty rubbish at expressing some emotions -- as in, I just generally choose not to, because I’m disastrous otherwise -- and I find it can be easier to do so through words on a page (digital or otherwise), and characters/people who aren’t me. 

So, while I don’t suffer from numbness, I do kind of understand. It means a lot to me to know that I’ve helped you. I can, you know, get a bit down, a bit frustrated, and it’s good to remember that the writing’s been worth it. If I can make somebody laugh, it’s always worth it. 

Thank you, friend, and I hope you find brighter days ahead.

Ngl, your adventures in Home renovation are making my day! I might buy a home that needs work in the next 5-6 years, so I’m over here taking notes. :)

I am honestly having so much fun sharing images with you guys, and I’m learning a lot too, so I’m glad I can pass that on. Plus there’s all kinds of DIY instructionals on youtube now, so when I tackle the really big stuff like retiling the bathroom, there’s plenty of places to learn!

Hang something over the upper spot? like a picture or TV or something?

That is actually where the TV hung, which is why all those patches are there in the first place -- the two small holes were for a cable to the TV, and the rip in the paint was where it hung. That said, it’s a terrible place to put a television because there’s a ton of afternoon glare coming in. I’m planning to hang some art over the big patch for sure -- I’m thinking maybe my The Librarians poster from Night Vale Live, or possibly something else with a giant crack/structural damage in the image, as a joke. :D

New home is looking fresh enough that you could maybe excuse an afternoon off to ice the hell out of your shoulder?

I may leave work early, and/or stay home tomorrow, depending on how I feel. Right now my body’s still sorting out the damage and recovering from the adrenaline shock, so I’ll get little flares of pain that then go away, then come back less harsh. Unfortunately my pain tolerance is high enough that I don’t always know when I’ve broken bones, but nothing is swelling or limited in movement yet, so I’m pretty optimistic. But yeah I will be sore tomorrow for sure.

At least this is the first major incident! I mean, I’ve given myself little nicks and scratches and such as I’ve gone along (my hands look pretty rough) but aside from muscle soreness from painting, this is the worst to happen, knock wood.

To be honest, I think we’re all surprised it took this long, but I’m glad it was minor and we don’t have to burn the death ladder. Take it easy today!

So, I live in a house with a Very Small Yard and 6 foot fences surrounding in a very urban area. I have also always wanted to keep bees. Since you have bees, do you know how much yard space I would need to happily house a hive? Also, I am a little worried they might bother my neighbors, but idk if they would? Bees aren't an immediate possibility, but it's something I've been thinking about and I finally decided to just ask someone who keeps them.

For the hive itself, about two square feet. You need enough room to work it too, of course, so make it a space two feet wide by perhaps four feet deep. 

If you’ve got that much space outside, you’ve got enough room for a hive. 

Bees spread out pretty quickly to forage once they leave the hive. Once you get three feet from the hive, they’ve pretty much dispersed. I doubt your neighbors would even know unless you told them.

The dud that is super into superman from that gifset about how old superman is is Winn, Supergirl's bff. He is SUPER into superheroes. He's also an absolute joy of a character.

Valentines day movies. They are likely to be the Ultimate Valentine's Day movie. Like Deadpool.

Deadpool was in that awkward position of being a huge risk, PacRim 2 and Black Panther AREN’T REALLY RISKS
