Did you hear about the upcoming episode of @howtodoflorida that was filmed in #FlaglerBeach? We can’t wait to see it! #loveflorida #floridalove #palmcoast #flaglerflorida #realestate #homesweethome #paradise (at Flagler Beach, Florida) https://www.instagram.com/p/CEMYryFggTj/?igshid=a2uduako88h6
vibes ♥️♥️
P31 “Sharky” and P32 “Silhouette” hunting in the shallows in Gasparilla Pass. I’ve observed the local dolphins hunting in incredibly shallow water by the beaches in the pass, sometimes appearing to use the shoreline to “trap” fish. Occasionally the dolphins may charge into such shallow water, it appears they nearly run up onto the beach (see the first photo, featuring Silhouette).

“That you, being rooted and grounded in love, may have strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.” (Ephesians 3:17-19)

I always ask myself why people live in places they know natural disasters happen often. 🤔🤔 If it floods there why would you want to live there? If it's tornado alley why would move there? It's where tornados live. But today my BF and I were looking at the updates on Irma and he asked "Do you still want to live in Miami?" And without hesitation or a literal half second of guessing, I replied "Yes!" And I got it. 🤔
If you've only started following along in my travels over the last two years, what you may not have known is that I'm a second generation native Floridian, that was born, raised and living in the Sunshine State, up until two years ago. After 35 years of swimming & paddling in Florida's oceans, waterways & bodies of water, driving its back roads, hiking its trails and exploring every nook & cranny of my home state, I set off for life on the road and new experiences, but Florida, in all its natural beauty & southern hospitality, will forever take up a huge chunk of space in my heart. ~ It's with a heavy heart that I sit on the opposite end of the country, watching the path of hurricane Irma; forecasted to go right through the place I lived most of my life, the place where a lifetime's worth of family & friends call home, to this day. It's the Florida way to ride out the storm, but we rode out Andrew in 92 and the devastation was crushing, yet we revived & rebuilt. This storm is no Andrew and no cause for a hurricane party. It's a freaking leviathan. ~ Who knows where Irma will make landfall or how badly it will affect the homes, businesses, roadways and natural places of such a beautiful state? What we do know is that the real florida knows how to keep it real and the seas may get real rough but you will weather the storm, like you always have. Yeah, I'm not there, but a big piece of my forever blue heart is and I'm hoping y'all are safe & loved no matter what happens. ~ #florida #lovefl #floridalove #floridaforever #floridaasfuck (at Florida)
Summer nutured me like a mother should this year. I learned a lot about myslef, and the people in my life. I hope to take this warmth and love feeling into fall and winter because I’ll definitely be needing it. I love you and I’ll miss you. I probably won’t be able to go the beach for the rest of the year so I’ll re live them through my pictures.
