Calling my DiaBuddies! (And everyone else)
flourishtodecay is a fabulous artist who is currently embarking on a project which involves women's body issues. She has created amazing beaded works, depicting brave women who submitted their images to be part of the project. Now she would love to hear from you! As part of her project she would like to receive 100 letters. These letters will be displayed in her studio and viewers will be encouraged to take a letter to read and keep. That's where you come in. She is asking for letters. I think this is amazing opportunity for you to talk about your relationship with your body, if having diabetes has affected it and potentially help and inspire someone else who is having difficulties with their body image. You can be any gender but you just be over 18. She only needs your name and age (it can be a nickname if you prefer) It can be any length you like. It only took me about 10 minutes to write my letter and I'm so happy to be part of such a great project. See her Tumblr for more details. I believe she is taking submissions through her ask box/ submit box or an email. It would be amazing to see more diabetics represented in this project. Please check it out!!

I really miss my girlfriend and want to see her so badly. I just miss her so much. This is difficult part of LDR that I can’t see her when I want‥.(I always want to see her) and we have to be strong all the time. It was not the best christmas but I will make the best christmas with her.

Sometimes I feel unsure about my life/my self and then I remember that I've finished school with a good ATAR and now have no commitments or homework or anything for a whole year and it's fucking brilliant.. For example, tomorrow I'm going to spend the day listening to Chet Faker's new album and writing letters and drawing pictures/making things for Ash and Nicky who are just two of the loveliest ladies I've met on here and I'm so excited to have a little letter/pen pal friendship with them!
